Coupling (UK)
I came in from mowing and my wife had been experimenting with the Netflix recommendations. I found that she had stumbled on Coupling. Its really funny. Between it, Spaced, and Doctor Who, I wonder why I watched American TV at all! ;-)
Interesting that those mockups aren't watermarked on Digital Bits. Were they Home Theater Forum mockups, or were they handed out by LFL?

So LFL actually "revisited" the movies and fixed some little errors for this 2011 version... Interesting.
Nice to know the mockup of the Wampa arm was a mockup, its pretty bad. The lightsabers posted seem to have better coloring than the one from the new trailer, which I'm going to also blame on the mockup.
I cannot wait for it to come out in the UK, giving them 4 days to review it for us before it comes out here. I just had a huge rant in front of my wife about how we won't be buying this set, but my morbid curiosity of what they bothered to change or what they didn't especially in light of the Revisited changes may get the better of me. I know there are still things Revisited will have that the officials won't, but I'm still interested.
Just tell me what it should say and I'll change it.
Every shot of the Falcon's cockpit from the front was cropped/zoomed in the DVD version.

I just finished updating my visual comparisons, just in time for people to find more changes in yet a third Special Edition.
It took me FOREVER, but I believe I have caught the comparisons up to the latest revelations. I removed the matte box "fixes" that were just the crushed blacks of the DVD, even the ones from the official changes. I also found a couple other things (nothing major, heck I don't even remember what).
I think everything is in the right order with the right captions. Let me know if something is off.
Check out the ESB comps, I found the frames for the re-wipes. I had to mess with the ratio also, as they're messed up. If you could grab me those frames, that'd be all I need I think. There wasn't much re-done as you know.
I'm not entirely sure. ESB is cropped really close though. I'm not sure I could compare the cockpit shots if they were 97 changes (which they aren't).The Aluminum Falcon said:

I don't see how the Humdinger could make it into that presentation and it be fixed for the final release. They've had 7 years to work on this, and they're making changes into the last month? well the top ones, they used the old matte painting with the old style building which also didn't match the buildings we saw in the previous shot. The bottom one, well they are the same buildings but sections flipped. This was because the light is coming from the right (although it is hard to tell in the 2004 shot because they completely blew out the high levels), when in the next shot the light is coming from the left. So the buildings were modified for continuity

Enough companies use FB for business that you can see all the pages. We could lock certain areas behind a "Like" wall, I think, but we don't want to do anything like that.
