I decided to actually go back and read the article, and Prowse says that Vader would be revealed to be Luke’s father in the third movie, not Empire. So it was probably just a lucky guess.
I heard about that, but given that he then went on to say that Luke would turn to the dark side, I think he was joking. He was using that twist as an example of a ridiculous plot point that could never happen, not knowing that they were actually planning to use that twist.
They aren’t part of the Sith Fleet, they’re regular First Order destroyers. Although this seems to be a point of confusion for a lot of people, so maybe something could be done to clear it up?
Most of the time I only watch the OT, but when I want to watch more, I prefer to just watch the movies where Luke is alive:
It starts with Luke’s conception and ends with Luke’s death, and you don’t have to watch any of the worst movies in the series.

You could use that sting for the beginning, then use the theatrical sting for the second establishing shot.
I don’t really like either, but if I had to watch one it would probably be the sequels. They’re just a lot more entertaining.
I never intended on that shot being used, as I don’t think it would really be fitting, I just wanted to give a visual example of it. I actually kinda hate footage from other Star Wars films being repurposed in fanedits, unless, the original source has the footage removed or the footage has been heavily edited.
I agree, that’s why I was suggesting changing it to night. Hopefully major changes like that would make it unrecognizable as reused footage.
Yeah, Corellia is a great idea for a spinoff planet to include. Maybe the sky in that screenshot could be changed to night, those deflector shield spheres could be edited to be burning, and a falling star destroyer could be added to the sky? Just some ideas.
A lot of people have been making mashups like this, where ROTS and the Clone Wars finale are combined into one. This isn’t exactly a new concept.

I personally prefer the 4K versions. SW Despecialized and 4K77 are very close in quality, but 4K77 is just slightly better in my opinion. 4K83’s quality is almost perfect though, and I don’t see it being beaten any time soon.

Those are regular First Order destroyers. They were destroyed when the galaxy heard Lando’s message and decided to rise up. It’s kind of contrived, but it’s not a plot hole.

I don’t think that shot would work. If it’s taken from another Star Wars movie, it would be too obvious if it was included in this one.

Alright, I can see why someone would think that. Jedi tend to be really good with falling from great heights, but it is completely subjective.
But there were no convenient air vents on Coruscant for Windu to grab hold of, and he was being electrocuted at the same time. It seems like Windu would just be splatter on the window of someone’s speeder.
