I can't really help, but this thread did remind me of this...
Did you mean to start a new topic or was this meant to be a reply to the "guilty pleasures" thread?
Er.. no, that was a different Jenny (JennyS1138).
Jenny2009 only joined on 11 June this year.
Was it more PM spam?
dark_jedi said:Does anyone have any idea what this frackin error message is that muxman keeps spitting out on me for ANH?
Probably due to a bitrate spike. It's different from the error you get when the bitrate stays high for a sustained period. Does Muxman actually complete the muxing? If so, I wouldn't worry about it, it will likely still play OK on modern players.
And the point g-force is making is that the GOUT stabilization script already includes upsizing as part of the EEDI2 anti-aliasing stage - the results are then downsized to 16:9 DVD resolution. If you want 1080p output it would make more sense to remove this downsizing stage and amend the Spline16Resize lines to produce your final desired output resolution.

I don't see a filter driver load option in ImgBurn. Does this mean I have an old version?
Open ImgBurn.
If you get a message saying that there is a newer version available... then you have an old version.
Baby steps, bkev...
Also - the closest font match I could find is called Byington.
I may also have the clean elements knocking around somewhere if you want them - although to be honest my 'shop skillz (in fact I used GIMP instead) are not that great, you might want to redo them yourself.
The alternative - where Imageshack has the codes to embed thumbnails of the image, copy the code under "Alt Forum", past into your post, then delete the [/IMG] bit.
Some info in this thread:

Thumbnail test:
Insert the thumbnail image first, then select it and convert into a link.
I don't know if any of ImageShack's preset forum tag options will give the correct results.
Test 2:
Just had a closer look at the script, and I have serious doubts about its suitability. Can anyone explain the logic behind using SeparateFields() and Weave() steps for a non-interlaced source?
The MPEG-2 video from the GOUT DVD is YV12, and I'm pretty sure that the stabilization script does not change the colourspace. Therefore, your lossless AVI should also be YV12, unless you changed it to RGB by accident when you saved it.
You can easily find out with this script:
AviSource("C:\filename.avi")
Info()
You have the celltimes.txt file that PgcDemux created?
When re-muxing with Muxman, select File, Import Chapter and choose this celltimes.txt file.
ChainsawAsh said:I remember a while back that someone (Neil?) made a fixed version of the 2004 DVD 5.1 audio for ANH.
Neil didn't make it himself, but he was the one who first posted about the existence of this fixed audio track. I don't know how widespread it is (I don't have it).
Orinoco_Womble said:... 448 just sounds so much better than 384. 384 sounds weak and overly compressed to me.
ABX log or it didn't happen! ;-)
Actually, could we please start a new thread about Dark Jedi's custom DVDs and continue the audio discussion in there? This thread is supposed to be about g-force's AVS GOUT script.
Suggestions:
I can't get any sound on the trailer due to it having some wierd audio format ("TWOS", whatever that is - some form of PCM I believe.) Going to try and see if ffdshow supports it.
I've had Telecide fail me on the initial starfield pan down.
NP shithead. :-p
BTW, I think you missed this thread.
T2, T3 and T4 never happened.
The SCC and T1 deleted scenes didn't happen, either.
In the future, the T-800 series are a new design to replace the 600 series that had rubber skin. They are an infiltration unit, hard to spot, thus they don't all look the bloody same!
John gives Kyle a photo of Sarah (John knows why - Kyle doesn't at the time). Kyle probably bashes a few out to the photo back at the human's base in between terminator attacks.
When the humans win the war and discover the time displacement facility, they realise the machines have sent a terminator back in time. They don't have a stockpile of spare T-800s available for reprogramming, so they have to send back a "weak" human instead. Kyle volunteers for the mission as it's a chance to meet Sarah for real. It's just him and a single T-800.
The smashed up T-800 in the 1984 manufacturing factory is weighed in as scrap the next day.

Jonno said:... (I suspect the NTSC and PAL versions don't have exactly the same content frame-wise).
I can confirm that the NTSC and the PAL GOUT do have exactly the same frame count.
Recut?
Remaster?
Reimagining?
These Super8 'abridged' edits are extremely interesting - they're rare, collectable, and represent a unique section of movie history. Definitely worthy of preservation.
And yes, sometimes they do yield hidden surprises - the ESB Super8 gave valuable information regarding the famed 70mm print differences.
