Decomb Telecide ftw.
Decomb Telecide ftw.
I'm waiting for word on the BluRay. If I'm right and the BD is equivalent to the second DVD issue, it may have at least some of the problems fixed (at least the Stuttering Beast and the missing credit in the OP have been restored on the second DVD), and be better than the ...ABC? rip we have now.
I could probably look for and upload my unvarnished rips.
I'm out of DVDs and I'm seriously pinching pennies for now until I get some stuff taken care of so I can't do more caps and try something like noise averaging. Also, I'm not good at authoring.
drf... where are you xD?
I've gotten snagged in a few things, I *do* have caps but I never released them... and got on a bunch of other projects, had a few HD crashes, but I don't drop my projects, just put them on hiatus until I can really do them... ugh, hard drive capacity x.x
In 2000-2001, 4 Sailor Moon musicals were produced which formed an overarching plot involving Dracula and a couple historical legendary serial killers.
These musicals were uncharacteristally dark for Sailor Moon, and also are the only ones which star the late Miyuki Kanbe as Sailor Moon. Apart from the two versions of the “Black Lady” musical (retelling of the anime’s second season) which followed them, these are the only Sailor Moon musicals which have not been reissued on DVD.
Last year, someone going by the handle “Seiya” uploaded very good rips of the VHS releases on BitTorrent, which I am planning to convert to DVD. That’s not the big thing - the big thing was that, on and off for several years, I have been trying to slog my way through these musicals with some degree of Japanese but not enough to really understand everything. (I also subtitled the Super Revue Musical Show which followed the last of these 4 musicals. I found a clip from May 2010 which contains one of the encore songs from the first of these musicals.) I’d like to be able to add subtitles to such DVDs. (I have actually looked in a few other places, as have some of my contacts who are also very interested in such a project; haven’t found anyone else who wants to translate and can do better than I can, which isn’t very well. This is a shot in the dark. Lyrics are a bit different matter because the songs were released on CD, and scans of the CD booklets exist with the lyrics in them, but dialogue is a lot harder for me to handle.)
I assume by fake he means he thinks it's just a fandub or such as opposed to an actual HK job?
Get it to Puggo xDDDDD

Michael bay was a music video director, and he stole my childhood...lol....
Meat Loaf. I don't recall anything else he did?
16mm is certainly capable of producing a good scan at HD resolution. 35mm, the native res of Star Wars, is even more capable of it.
ISR Incredible Shrinking Ratio but not sure what "E" is.
ESB-R *is* ESB.

drf was also talking about the idea of adding the Backstroke dub *and* the Backstroke subs to his dvdiso. xD
Now if the other half would show up, lul.
I have that Lion King. Can't cap the stills very well though... :(
Go for it. My hardware is mediocre anyway.
(BTW - drf's looking into reversing Beauty and the Beast to near-OTV at 720p, I'll let you guys know if that works out)
A stock xterm, and either a stock Bourne shell (or ash/dash) or ksh...?
Dr. Gonzo defo had that bumper.

Makes me think of that old 80's song, "put the needle on the record, put the needle on the record" LOL.
I want to say that's Pump Up The Volume by M/A/R/R/S.
Do I see Zod? </random>
Could always go AMD if you want a better price/performance ratio...
Funny, it worked fine for me. Did it manage to complete?

Overrestoration is worse than no restoration, imho.
Yeesh, the AVIs I made from Gonzo 7 years ago are still floating around?
