will someone tell me what the heck is going on now everyone is talking about the trailer like they have seen it while i have not.  are you the guys that got the trailer by donating or does everybody here have it "SAD FACE"

Just scroll up to Adywan's last post, which is on this page. :p

Oh, and nice that you put it on YouTube, G.E. Predator, but blimey (and no offense, but) the quality is AWFUL! :p Ladyferry (a.k.a. shellatella) will no doubt upload one that can be downloaded in high quality, and with the right aspect ratio to boot.

Give it some time to finish processing.  I uploaded it only 24 minutes ago.

Happy B-Day Ady!

Seems like you got absolutely gutted.

It is cool that we now have confirmation that people at Lucasfilm are watching the progress.

Last year in September I went on a trip to San Fransico and went to Lucasfilm HQ. (They have there own Starbucks on site! I had coffee there and everyone was looking at me funny.)

I was thinking of leaving a copy of ANH:R on the window sill of an office there. But I decided against it as I wasn't sure Adywan wanted the attention of the Lucasfilm "Empire" just yet.

Maybe that is why the Blu-ray hasn't been released yet? Maybe Lucasfilm is doing there own Revisited?

Hey Everyone. Been a long time since I posted something.

This thread has gone way off topic. I don't think anyone has had a ESB correction mentioned in some time. It has mostly been about CGI graphics, models, and ROTJ:R. Not that there is anything wrong with that.. just something I noticed. I never thought we would be able to exhaust the film.

It seems to me we have reached the stage in development where all the errors have been noted, Creative additions have been brought forth, and Adywan has commented on all of it.

I guess we are now switching into quality assurance.

When Adywan releases the trailer we will all marvel at it. Then we will make notes on the changes and make suggestions. Then we have to wait till the film is finished to do the same again.

What fun!

Hello All,

It has been awhile since I posted. I am just reading the "Secret History of Star Wars" book. If you haven't read it... read it. It is very fascinating.

Anyways, Has Ady mentioned what he is doing with the incestuous kiss between Luke and Leia? Lucas would never have written this if Leia was always supposed to be Luke's sister.

I appologise if it has been talked about already. I am lazy and don't feel like looking through 347 pages of info for it.

I know Adywan is not to keen on taking down his models. However, that is the way most films are done anyway. build the set.. shoot it.... take it down....build the next one ... repeat.

But Selling them on Ebay is a good idea. I know a lot of fan films finance themselves that way. Howver, I am not to sure how much call there is for a Hoth Hanger mockup....

Hey Adywan, is it cheaper to buy the fine molds MF in North America and then pay to have it shipped over? Is someone heading over to the UK soon who could transport it? I will be in London in September on my way to France. I am willing to drop it off for you.

One thing that I find funny about this thread is that Adywan said ESB:R would be released pretty quick cause it didn't need much updating. It was a near perfect film...the best of the series. But... we seem to manage to find a lot of things wrong with it. I would hazard a guess at more than ANH:R. Just a funny thought. Matticon

Wow, this forum went way off topic for awhile.

Ady, with all the stuff you have planned you will need to do some sub-contracting. That is too much for a one man job! I need to learn some video editing programs and help you out! Or perhaps we could get some people making costumes, building sets etc...

As for ESB:R. I don't think a new display needs to be added to the falcon cockpit. It is fine the way it is.

We as a froum need to keep watching 2004 ESB and digging for stuff to talk about! That way we won't get off topic!

Hey all,

Great wampa ady!

As for Yoda's blinks, I just tried to hold my eyes open for that length and it was uncomfortable. But then everyone is different I suppose, plus Dagobah's humidity is higher, and the fact that Yoda is a whill!

On another note. I've really sat down and tought about the deleted score for the Carbon Freeze chamber duel.

I really think the first part could go as it seems to be leading more into the scene where Chewie chokes Lando. However, the scene after I think plays better with the score.

I watched it several times and these were my observations.

1. The scene seems to be faster with the music.

2. I find I am more emotionally involved.

3. I really like the Yoda theme in the music, it makes me think that Yoda is helping him from afar or has trained him well enough (as he seems to best vader if only for a moment).

The scene without the music is good but seems more flat. I am not to sure why they chose to delete it. However, I do notice that my attention is drawn away from the dialogue and that is perhaps the reason.

I am also a bit of an audiophile and I am usually paying closer attention to the music than most people do.

Anyways, just my thoughts on the deleted music.

Hey! I got in trouble for making a post about PT:R and now we are discussing hangover cures??? hahahaha

Getting back on track.

I 've watched the new yoda scene where adywan has articulated Yoda's mouth. Very good work. The first time I watched it the stretching  really jumped out at me. It seemed almost too stretched. The second and third viewings seemed much better.

I noticed that Yoda only blinks 3 times. Any chance on adding one or two more? There was some parts of the scene where I think he goes a bit long.

Hey all,

Been away for awhile. Took me forever to catch up 14 pages of posts.

Also, I had the freezing problem on page 300.

I'd like to thank Ady for posting and clearing up some issues about his ideas behind the prequels. If you think the debates abut ESB:R have been heated just wait till we all start talking about TPM, AOTC, and ROTS!!!

The issue about the PT is that there are so many viewponts that people take. Be it from the midichlorian explaation, Jar-Jar, Dialogue, Threepio being made by Anakin, the virgin birth. etc.... People have so many ideas about the way it should have been.

With the PT:R some of us will agree with the changes Ady makes and some of us won't.

Michael Nichols (The Phantom Editor) did a fabulous job on TPM and AOTC. The movies are better by just editing them. if you haven't seen them, check them out and be sure to watch them with commentary. Nichols explanations for his changes are well thought out and artilculated.

What I am most curious about is what changes Ady wishes to make to the PT story. Sure we can re-editit scenes so they are faster and cut dialogue. Where the most contentioun will come from is the story line changes. I think the OT  is pretty straight forward in what needs to be upgraded and changed. The PT is where Ady's skill will be tested.

PS any word  on when the Blu-Rays will be released?

I have always found the original line "We have a new enemy, Luke Skywalker" and the new one "We have a new enemy, the young rebel that destroyed the Death Star. I have no doubt this boy is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker" really funny. It is well known that Empire Strikes Back takes place 3 years after ANH (according to the ever changing statements of GL). What is for certain is that a some time has passed. However, the emporer decides to come in 1/2 way through the second movie and explains that they have this "NEW" enemy. Which we as the audience have known for 1 1/2 movies. Don't you think it would have happened a something more like this? The Death star is blown up. Vader flies back to Coruscant in his busted up ship, lands, marches over to the Emporer, and the Emporer says "WTF?" Vader explains some stuff... then the Emporer says... " We have a new enemy blah blah". Then the second movie starts. But instead it happens something like this. Vader is out galavanting around the galaxy smashing up his star destroyers in an asteroid field. , the emporer gets back to his office after a nice long Gungan hunting Safari on naboo. He sits down and starts reading over the HUGE pile of letters and memos in his inbox. As he is sipping on his freshly brewed java juice, He comes across the one that says "Luke Skywalker, a whiny half trained jedi farm boy has blown up death star." The Emporer does a spit take. Then yells at his secretary to get Vader on the line. Piett then gets a signal and runs over to Vader saying "the emporer demands that you make contact with him" and the rest is history. Just a bit funny. IMO. Matticon.

Hey all,

Been catching up here in the forum.

I like the MF banking up and going to lightspeed. It just gives it a better sense of suddeness and speed.

I like Vaderios am always in favor of more Tie fighters. I'd also like to sse more snow troopers in the hoth battle scene too. The only reason there was never more in the original was cost, time and technology.

I definetly agree that a "making of" folder be put on the DVD with all the mockup, but only if there is room. The idea of some of the mockups being menu backgrounds is awesome. I'd love to see the luke one, and the piett one with perhaps ady's face put on instead? hahaha j/k.
