Another thing if you’re going to re-upload the set:
Would it be possible to put the inner and outer parts of the inserts on the same pdf? As it is right now, the only way I know of printing both images is to print the first side, flip the sheet over and put it back into the printer, and then print the second side. Could there just be a simpler way to do that which I haven’t discovered yet?

I just printed off your first set, and I realized there’s a typo in the Empire insert. In the first paragraph of the crawl on the back, you wrote “persued across the galaxy” instead of “pursued across the galaxy.” I downloaded the set many months ago so I don’t know if it’s been brought to your attention before, but I thought I’d let you know in case it hasn’t.

So I guess the best answer would be both? Or maybe neither? I hadn’t considered that he wants to come close to the negative. It makes sense for him to try to remove any unique qualities that the print had, whether it was Eastman or Technicolor. That clears a lot up, thanks guys.

I only ask because of this comparison I made for various editions:

It looked like Legacy had a similar color scheme to the Silver Screen edition, and I thought that was based off an Eastman print. Maybe I just don’t have an eye for that sort of thing.

Quick question for anybody who can answer: Are the colors in Legacy going to lean more toward a Technicolor print or an Eastman print? I only recently learned of the difference, and I’m curious about what to expect.

That is a very impressive cover, I like it a lot. Now I really don’t want to sound ungrateful, but would you ever consider doing a cover with US format for ratings on it instead of the European system? I’d completely understand if you didn’t want to bother, I’m just wondering.

Again, I’m all for it, it doesn’t take anything away from the movie. I was just curious.

I’m sure this has been asked before, but just for curiosity’s sake, are all future releases going to have the Negative-1 logo and the message before the movie starts? Not that I’m against giving credit to the artists, of course, just wondering. Also, is there any chance for somebody to sync the 5.1 mix to this?

I read that comment and I thought it was confirmed. I frantically scrolled up in the thread to see if Mike said that and my hopes were dashed. I was so excited.

The disc labels are printed onto a special printable disc; you can't just put them onto any Blu-ray disc you have.

I'm now encountering a new issue.

I'm using a Canon Pixma printer, and I'm printing to photos through Windows "Photos" application on my PC, and the results are smaller than a typical Blu-Ray sleeve, both too short and too narrow. Is there another thing I could do to make these usable?

I thought these were the kinds of questions that the ridiculous 4k thread utterly failed to answer.

 I'm fairly certain it exists, but whether it's the OOT or not is, in mine and Disney's eyes, not important. They have something they can call STAR WARS 4K and, as history would show us, no amount of signatures on a petition will matter to them to such an extent that they would go and get another one just for appeasement's sake.

Not really. Discounting the fact that it's not done, they already have a 4K version, and they don't really have any reason to get another, especially given the useless gesture that was the earlier petitions to Lucasfilm.

I speak only for myself of course but I personally would be all for a version without cue marks, if it's not a lot of work.

I went into acrobat and changed the setting to "actual size," and while that did make it a little bigger it's still not the same size as the inner artwork, which seems to fit the criterion case better.

I have another small question that I don't know if you've answered before. Do you intend on keeping things like the orange streaks that appear throughout the Tantive IV scene, as well as the cue marks on each reel?

So I printed out ronwlim's Star Wars inserts for the criterion cases, and while the inside art fits the case, the outside printout was too small to fit the case properly. Any help in fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

So looking at the first post and another one that's linked to in the first post, reference is made to using the following as the audio mixes:

• (partially restored) mono mix
• 35mm theatrical [presumably the stereo mix]
• 35mm Spanish theatrical
• 70mm theatrical (recreation)

I don't know if anything's changed for these but if not, my question is: For these tracks, are you using the ones made by users like hairy_hen and belbucus? I just wonder what the post means by "partially restored" and "recreation."

Okay, now I have the MKV. I tried using ImgBurn and all I got was a disc that wouldn't play on a conventional player, but would, when opened on my computer, act like a data disc with the MKV file for the movie on it, which could then be clicked to open. How do I burn the movie on a disc in a way that will work?  Any help would be appreciated.

 If u intend to put it on a blu-Ray disc then u have the right version.

 The MKV is best for blu-ray? I thought AVCHD was the .iso that was designed specifically for putting it onto a blu-ray disc. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
