Fiend isn’t really that nice, either. Just mute the whole line.

Axe “little” while you’re at it to avoid offending.
Replace one syllable of dialogue for Ben Kenobi and then impersonate his voice for the whole film in order to ensure a match.
PM sent.

Comp in the Star Wars Kid as a background Jedi in the Battle of Geonosis.
Remove “Episode I” subtitle from TPM and pretend it was a one-off film from 1999 that was never expanded upon.
Out of Darkness
Lol, yes that makes sense. She probably carved out the most valuable chunk of his X-wing door, where the valuable component is, too.
I don’t think it’s an issue. Luke’s journal was among the Jedi texts Rey took, the rest of which were ancient. No contradiction.
And Luke technically never said he didn’t read the books. More likely Luke read them at some point, but perhaps decades ago, and has not remained devotional.
I agree, although it’s a fair point. It feels slightly incongruent at first blush, but there were multiple “texts” in “that library.”
I knew it started with an H. Nice.
I don’t plan to reorder that sequence, and I feel the original order makes sense and flows well.
The NPR radio drama has this scene, and Jabba’s role is substituted for an underling. I can’t remember the name, though.
No, and there probably won’t be until Dat_SW-Guy finishes and shares his work on the scene.
TFA
ANH
ESB
ROTJ
TLJ
wouldn’t be super bad.
New Machete:
TFA
TLJ

ROTJ
TROS
With respect, I think doing a poor rotoscope would be mandatory for getting this thing made.
I sat down to see if I could possibly get that transition to sound any better, since I agree it’s probably the worst out of the whole fan edit. The trouble is I can’t really replace the music since there is subtle foley that would be very hard to replace.
Here’s a fresh attempt at it. I think it’s fundamentally the same, though maybe a little smoother as I let the outgoing music stay strong for longer. If this feels like an improvement, I could reissue the edit with just the audio track being replaced. It is utterly beyond my means to reissue any of the prequel edits with any visual changes anymore.

Let me know what you think.
Forgive the bump but I wanted to make sure people saw this recent post since most of this thread is people asking for links, including the last couple.
Hal, I saw this edit a few years ago and felt it really improved AOTC.
I’ve heard you have edits for all the films in both the prequel and the sequel trilogy…
Would it be possible to message me links to all 6? I’d love to work my way through your versions.
Sending PM.

Each scene transition is a who’s that Pokémon screen.
Good idea, will keep the theme going when there’s nothing else injected for a while. Maybe pick Pokémon based on the scene, like maybe Krabby when transitioning away from Ach-To for the first time.
My gag reel for TLJ that I never made has the idea for a “who’s that Pokémon?” bit with eggs in silhouette. Phasma guesses “eggsecute,” and rages when it’s revealed to be a Ditto.
She already names it: “Eggsecute.”
Just had a thought pop into my head and so I checked and yep… Yoda took his clothes with him.
Vocode all dialogue to the character’s leitmotif.
