Argh!
I can't get my chapter inserts to print in EFFING ACTUAL SIZE.

It keeps "cropping and rotating to fit".

Can anybody tell me how to make it stop? Or printing software that doesn't suck like that?

Not quite, sorry.
The TR47 set has 2.0 PCM stereo uncompressed audio, and is indeed widescreen.
The anamorphic set is in anamorphic widescreen, formatted for widescreen TVs.

Just a thought:

For a future DVDr release (be it Dual Layered or otherwise), I think it'd be a good idea to have 50 chapter stops.
It'd match up with the prequels and even SE DVD in Sept.

If said DVDr release is after Sept, you might even want to make the stops be in the same places and have the same names as the official set.

Minor thought.

So, if you do a Dual-Layered set, will the actual picture and sound quailty be improved over the TR47 set?

I know you can put menus and stuff on 'em, but is the actual movie quality improved?

(IMO they are better than their original names. That's the intent of course though.)

Can you give us a larger, printable size of those? They are better than mine and since the names are good (

) I'd like to print them.

Here's my reviwe on the TR47 DVDs.

The picture is great. It is the only bootleg set I own, so I can't compare to others.
But compared to my laserdiscs, they are far better!
This is because, I'm sure, my laserdisc player is NOT top notch. In fact, it's pretty low end. So this was a personal improvement for me, thanks to crappy laserdisc player.
The picture quality looks AWESOME on my 32" TV.
When watchin on PC, you can tell it isn't DVD perfect. But that can't be helped as they are sourced from laserdiscs.
No complaints about picture.

The sound is awesome. Listening to them through my father's obsessivly modified speak system, they sound like nothing I've heard before. Best sounding Star Wars I've heard.

There are no extras or menus. But that's worth it to make sure that the films themselves have the maximum quality possible.

I would HIGHLY recommend the TR47 set to anyone looking for bootlegs.

After thinking a while, forget a 'halfway edition'. If whoever ends up doing it does a halfway edition, please be sure to take it all the way as well with a fully DE-SEized bootleg DVD.

Without you, I'd still be watching LDs on my CRAPPY player. The TR47 discs look ten times better on my TV simply because my LD player sucks.

Not to mention the Holiday Special, Droids, Ewoks etc. torrents.

Eh, it's pretty nice.

But the Hyperspace crap is making me wanna cancel it. I think they are implying that they are even going to merge Insider subscribers into Hpyerspace the way they've been doing the vice versa.

Either way, it won't be very interesting after EpIII comes out.

I'm kinda tired of paying that much for it. So I'm gonna let my subscription run out.

I'll have issues 50-77. 27 issues.

Until a torrent is made so I can see it for myself, can you name some cuts of Balance of the Force and The Clone Wars that make them different from the official films?
