My video card is... not working. So I can't upload a clip.
I made a cut after the Anakin's line "I was about to say that". JUST as Obi-Wan looks back at Palpatine (it's subtle). CUT to the shot where Obi-Wan turns around and we hear Dooku say "your swords please...".
If you look at the DVD you can probably visualize it.
Originally Anakin was to kill Dooku the way he killed Windu, towards the middle of the film. There was no Grevious, because that character was created to fill in the gap that was left when they decided to kill Dooku off within the first fifteen minutes. Obi-Wan wasn't sent to kill Grevious/Dooku either.
And it opened with a montage of the Clone Wars being fought on seven different planets, instead of the flat rescue of Palpatine.
Deciding to kill off Dooku and replace him with Grevious opened up a lot of problems, and I think ruined the story of the first half of the movie. (Which subsequently helped ruin the story of the second half.)
Story-wise, I think ROTS is a real let-down. Count Dooku is supposed to be the 8-ball of the Clone Wars, and he's killed off right at the start. Then they introduce Grevious.
I think ROTS would have been better if they'd stuck with their original story ideas. And had the ending be less like a powerpoint presentation. (And have Padme move to Alderaan at the end! WHY DIDN'T THEY DO THAT?)
