I would have preferred the Chewie shot over what we saw before, but the new version of the smokey shot looks pretty great!

I remember reading this as a 7 or 8-year old. I considered them "Episodes 7-12."

Perhaps someone who's already done this could help us noobs out...

I would like to remux the AVCHD folder to trash the Czech language tracks in favor of including Hairy Hen's non-purist mix. Anyone with experience in doing this have instructions?

I don't know much about the history of audio mixes of SW, but does anyone know of our current best source for the mono mix featured in this project? 

Also, I wonder if anyone's attempted an up mix of it that would retain its distinct audio choices in a mix suitable for modern setups.

I enjoyed listening to bits of it and enjoying how the occasional audio difference catches me off guard.

I feel like all the 'roadblocks' to enjoying watching the film have been removed. There's no SE garbage, and no significantly distracting artifacts of their removal.

It's just awesome to both, say, make out the individual whiskers on Kenobi's beard while also avoiding any obvious CGI. It's the almost fully original version restored in crystal picture.

I'm preparing a snack and beverage, and will dig out my ultra-headphones in anticipation of the single best presentation of Star Wars I will have experienced.

Even though the duel is still the only dissapointment in this project (which I intend as a sincere compliment), that video makes it clear that it looks better than the '04. The saber cores are distinct, and the contrast is better.

Damn, those blast flashes make me happy. ;-D

When I saw the screencap on AintItCoolNews, it did not occur to me that it was anything other than a bad joke. I paid it no mind at all.

Yeah, you'd have to qualify what counts as a change.

Oh well, I guess this sort of thing isn't so objective.

Perhaps sometime when I'm not so tired I could tally up how many of 005's cataloged changes Harmy's versions will remedy and give him a composite score of accuracy.
