You could have recycled them.
I wouldn't want to inflict them on some future product of different kind.

Sounds like fun; I'd watch 'em.
What do you have in mind for Frodo at Mt. Doom?
lol, the battle droids start walking backwards and Obi-Wan is like "wut?"
Yeah, that's what this is.
This is my trash can.
This is a DVD released in 2004, wrongfully titled "The Empire Strikes Back." Someone named Harmy just gave me a copy of the real movie. I think someone must have put a similar but different film in the wrong DVD box before I bought it.
That's a better place for it. Alert my local garbageman to prepare for its arrival.
Now, this one was really strange. I swear the box said "Star Wars," but there were dinosaurs everywhere. And cartoon robots smackin' each other around. What a crock of shit.
I could find no better place in my home for this accursed plastic circle.
Now I'm really pissed off. If the first two weren't enough, this DVD was in the "Return of the Jedi" box. But when I put it in I saw some fucked up cartoon music video. I don't know what crazy 90's CGI movie that was, but it wasn't no "Jedi."
Strange that all three Star Wars DVDs I bought had the wrong movie in them.
I finally got the chance to sit down and watch this end-to-end on my big monitor with my big 'ol headphones. (It's the best I got, and I had to coax my graphics card to play it fluidly.)
I just want to reiterate, this is a beautiful work. I don't think I've enjoyed Empire this much ever.
Harmy, I sincerely thank you for the hard work and passion you're pouring into these restoration projects. "Public service" indeed.
Bravo and encore!
Those last two clips are perfect.
Looks pretty seamless; can't detect any giveaways of the canyon shot.
It's too bad there's no way to have him NOT finish the race.
After all, he's never finished a race before.
Also, here's some more Watto dialogue to work with: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYqiYK10Vv4
Regarding the end of ROTJ, As long as Luke does his wink/nod to the three ghosts, I'll be happy.
Best split second of the trilogy.
Seriously, I agree with the homosexual gentleman 100%.
Yeah, those should all be story compatible.
Kerr's must have slipped through the cracks. I certainly have lots of love for Kerr in my heart.
Feel free to plug in his with any of these run through's Ep3.
I think my preferred version of Star Wars is as follows:
ANH - Harmy's De-SE
ESB - Harmy's De-SE
ROTJ - Harmy's De-SE
And, when I feel like self-mutilation, I would watch these prequel edits:
TPM - L8wrtr's Ep 1
AOTC - Spence's Ep 2
ROTS - Stankpac's Ep3
What kind of name is Stankpac? Gross.
I guess you could just leave the Jabba scene in.
Ha, that was "thread," not "threat." Sounds like I was threatening to make her RIP.
Yikes.
1) Bumped the RIP Rosa Parks threat
2) Yup, sure did.
3) How do I profit from this?
BUMP
Can Anakin finally leave the start line just seconds before Sebulba wins?
Here's a few "Prequel Run-Throughs" with composite scores.
Phantom editor's 1 and 2 + Stankpac's 3 (8.98)
L8wrtr's 1 + Spence's 2 and 3 (8.55)
Slumberland's 1 + Spence's 2 + Stankpac's 3 (8.47)
Phantom editor's 1 and 2 + AEMovieguy's 3 (8.35)
ModernKnife's 1 + Spence's 2 and 3 (8.12)
Slumberland (8.11)
Phantom editor's 1 and 2 + Corgicar's 3 (8.09)
JasonN (7.95)
ADigitalMan's 1 + DiamondCut 2 + ADigitalMan's 3 (7.8)
Hmm. Well it looked pretty good to me, anyway. So that's cool.
Just curious how you got the shot with the orange blob under the speeder. Was it just GOUT upscale, or what? That shot looked really bad in the GOUT, but it looked pretty good here.
Sweet! I'd love a PM for the DVD5 too.
You rotoscoped Ben's lightsaber, didn't you?
All in all it looks fantastic. Truly exciting!
YOU GUYS ARE TOO SILLY
What's the source of the audio for the battle droids? I think that'd even work well for a legit fan edit.
Sorry, I know what I meant when I said "legit." :P
