Apparently my Mac is too old to be able to access iTunes Extras. I guess the technical hurdles are too great for my machine to stream 480p "Legacy content." I heard from someone who did buy that the Legacy content is just the same SD video as the DVDs.
Cool idea! I think watching the films (or prequels in any event) with a different fan editor's version of each film would be very fun. The only problem is the inevitable little inconsistencies that you wouldn't know about unless you were already familiar with them. Having a curated "playlist" like this would be a good resource for those who are interested, but haven't drank the kool-aid like us weirdos have.
The SE version contains the sloppy transition, which Adywan improved in his version.
For a few reasons. It would involve a sloppy transition to remove mention of Luke's father, with R2 lurching up. It also begs the question why Luke and Biggs didn't recognize each other in the briefing. It's really just about preference, but that's part of what informs mine.
