I think he looks cartoony on this poster, though I wonder if he may be physically embodied differently in the film than in ROTJ, and if this is splitting the difference in order not to tip us off.

I agree about the carbon freezing thing but TCW is to blame for it. This show is just doing something natural given the ‘canon’ predecessors already out there.
This’ll be a real treat. Hopefully one of us can craft a movie version of the series once it wraps, too.

I’ve never watched it this way, but next time I’d like to watch part 1 of the Clone Wars microseries right after Episode II, then part 2 another day right before Episode III. Then Rogue One one night, followed by ANH the next night.
All in the presence of someone who is uninitiated, so I can exercise my vampire nature through watching vicariously.

They all have commentary, and I don’t know why Google Drive presents it as the only audio option in-browser. But you can download whichever version and select whichever of the audio streams you like.

I am skeptical that lowering the pitch of Jar Jar’s voice would be seamless with all the ambient sounds and music; I couldn’t even begin to apply it well to Amidala in COD.

That looks great to me, and it takes place very shortly before that second Wookiee is featured without being focused on at all. So, this seems to be a gentle introduction to him.
