Yes, I am planning to make that change. Seeing Phasma’s corpse sells the idea well enough for me.

Thanks for saying so. 😃
Not hardcoded; does your player not have an option to turn them off?
Hmm… as good of a rationalization as any.
+1 on seamless musical transitioning.
And I like that the blur intensifies during a gust of wind.
User ‘Luke Kenobi’ recently pointed out to me in a PM that the end credits on the DVD version freeze partway through. While not the worst thing in the world, it needed to be fixed. I have just replaced it with a fixed version on all the usual places.
Only the DVD version was affected.
ANH is live!
I’ll update the OP with full details for ANH and ESB.
I probably won’t revisit ROTJ after Adywan finishes his Revisited project, since there’s nothing I feel cries out for me to use, cool things though I am sure he’ll do. I do hope to use his upcoming color corrected BluRay transfer as my primary source.
I played with replacing the “Noo” with the one from 2011 ROTJ, but it couldn’t be isolated and probably would’ve made it worse anyway.
Thanks for the kind words, jarbear! Helps me feel that doing a V6 has been worthwhile. I suppose the Wookiee noises could be happening offscreen, but I do see what you mean. At least Chewie and Yoda don’t get to add to the implausibility of the story.
Broken record again, but I’m stoked to watch this ahead of IX. Or at least a workprint or whatever you got by then.
Lossless audio on its way up.
You got me double checking the Vader scream, as I was worried I’d made a mistake. However, as planned, the alternate ending version has the Russian version.
Thanks, Mala! I will get the lossless audio up there soon. Your list sounds good!
And I have no idea when the FE.org listings will return; I haven’t heard back after reaching out to multiple people.
ROTJ is a good way off at least. The workprint is all I can provide. The assembly is complete but almost all footage are from placeholder sources.
And I will publish an updated TLJ workprint soon, but I’m hoping to get one more thing for it first.
LOE V6 and the alternate ending version are now available in all their usual places.
ESB has been fixed and is available where it was before. Again, only the 1080p mkv and DVD versions were affected.
Currently encoding ANH!
ChainsawAsh pointed out to me an issue with ESB’s Custom SE recently. I neglected to crop out the black bars of the 1080p frame when applying the color correction, leading to several places in the film during which the empty borders of the frame become brighter or bluish.
I’ve already fixed the problem and am encoding new video streams for the 1080p and DVD versions. (The two 720p versions are immune because the frame was cropped.) I’ll get these out there once I’m finished with LOE in a few days and then move onto getting ANH’s Custom SE out there for those wanting to include it in a pre-IX viewing.
As Luke and Ben head toward Docking Bay 94, an R1 unit can be seen hobbling by in the distance.
Never would have noticed; never won’t again.
Or Crunchy.
The laugh came from the same source as the line.
Fair. However, it is the only thing we hear of him in that particular environment.
Used subtlety, I bet that’d be a very nice enhancement.
No, that shot originally transitioned into R2 in the hangar. And the shot of the Jedi emerging from the elevator followed after the Super Battle Droids being fried.
If anything, you’re hearing a slight squeak or sound of R2 shuffling along.
lol
“Sometimes there’s crap no one can fix.”
Ok, here’s the next pass, with phasma now appearing in the first shot as well. I think (hope!) this gives it a moment to sink in and maintains continuity while remaining subtle.

Looks real good.
That’s a nice trick about copying to one’s own Google Drive. I added that to the FAQ file listed at the top of the ‘Hal 9000 SW edits’ directory.
Also, please refer to that FAQ file for a tip on another place to find these if the Google Drive is currently stalled out.
