Because I will take a heavy ‘project management’ approach to best leverage my extremely limited time and Dominic already has efforts in his pipeline to tackle that aspect of things, I will start off focusing on other areas.

Rey feels insecure about the darkness she perceives inside her, especially as it presents danger to her loved ones. Having a repressed memory of killing her parents would fit in naturally.

If the scene already had music I’d just try to work in a single instance of the “dun dun duhduhduh, dun dun duhduhduh.”

Something about communication being cut off would maybe help bridge Poe’s sense of despair and the enormous civilian fleet that musters once given the chance. But something else to serve that purpose could be put in its place.

Cool! I wonder if there’s ever been an alternate recording of the track. That may help it feel like it’s what was originally done.

Lessening it would be welcome at least, it seems.

Ah, I see. I’m sorry, I haven’t been in a place to pay quality attention when I check in.

It sets up the necessity of using the wayfinder and the nebula of insanity that serves as a barrier.

I like the opening. We see that he has to find a thing to get him to Palpatine, no dialogue, quick. I don’t see myself removing it, since there’s no alternative scene or anything to use in its place.

Does a single setting applied to the whole film do well?

Not saying it should, but the opening crawl could spell out that the planet we open on is Mustafar.

Maybe something about how Kylo “searches relentlessly for his grandfather’s SITH WAYFINDER to unlock his former master’s power” or something.

Hmm… TFA:R no longer names Hosnian Prime onscreen. Inserting a shot of Coruscant into TROS:A may be slightly confusing. I’d do it anyway, because it’s not a real problem, but something to consider.

I agree that the fact wouldn’t keep me from using her voice anyway. It’d probably need to be that way, as removing her from the Poe scene would be a lot of work.

I wonder if they didn’t have Leia say “always” because they decided for her body to vanish subsequent to that moment.
