Yub Nub!
Yub Nub!
Has anyone played with overlaying Boba’s two vocal performances in ESB, time shifting to sync, to see how it sounds? Like his real voice is muffled but just audible over his modulated one?
Hmmm… should I really remove the song Ben Solo was conceived to?
I think that might be just a little bit confusing. i’m thinking of people’s moms.
Actually, my mom has been a hypothetical audience member that I have kept in mind as I’ve done my edits.
Thank you for refreshing my memory.
😃
TROS doesn’t have any alien subtitles, does it? Can’t think of any.
Still waiting to get my hands on the BluRay…
Were there any ideas to tie into TROS that you had considered but decided not to go with?
If SMJ gets to say as much…
Sticking a purple blade into Palpy’s face is what does him in after all.
Thanks for the picture. Glad that exists.
If the crawl suggests Kylo continues to eradicate remnants of the Jedi and the Sith, finding the Wayfinder would seem to just be an accident. That could work, I suppose. Maybe. I still don’t have a problem with the scene in the first place. Nothing wrong with showing him finding it real quick; the movies don’t usually rely on the crawl too much anyway.
When Kylo holds up the Wayfinder during the opening scene on Mustafar, adding one of our patented “Find me”s would help bridge the gap between not having Palpatine in the opening crawl and his unphased determination when arriving on Exogol.
Could you have Rey’s parents being “taken” by Palpatine, because he sensed her future but they didn’t know about it, and still maintain continuity with TLJ’s “selling for drinking money”?
This’ll be a puzzle box.
I’d love a still image (hell, or video) of Rey’s father with a third eye on his forehead.
Anyone feel like doing that, just for shits and giggles? I’m sure it’d make rounds online.
I guess a Rey Nobody edit would just about have to be a ‘Drunkard Parents’ cut, too. Why else would they have sold her “to protect her”? They wouldn’t have had any reason to know Palpy was after her because of what she would become.
I’d love to see a Disney+ series set in the distant future about a new Jedi order, and then to see it fan edited into a non-half-billion-dollar budget trilogy of movies to bring us up to Episode XII.
Just starting exporting a second candidate after fixing several things wrong with the first. Mostly gaps between clips. I think it added a blank space whenever I deliberately had repeated a frame. After that point I will QC it, mux, and proceed. A few days at the absolute earliest. Whenever its done I will do TLJ and then finally be able to do anything with TROS by that point.
Kylo doesn’t seem to be overtly searching for it, evidenced by the (admittedly potentially able to be modified) line “what could you give me?”.
If not tracking Palpatine specifically, following clues left behind by Snoke is vague enough to work.
Sounds great, well done.
And while I’m not sure we could effectively get Kylo looking for the fleet at the start, making it into an old contingency would help. But we’ll see.
😃
Thanks! And yes, I’d buy that they merely modified an existing fleet.
Not yet. Hopefully soon. I’ll let you all know.
NFB, if you could find those that’d be very helpful. I’d love to be able to spin it in that direction. The official explanation is just so farfetched. Smuggling spare junk doesn’t lead to the largest fleet in history that exactly replicates an old Star Destroyer model.
Perhaps yellow lightning would befit her? A bit of research finds a Legends precedent in Jedi Plo Koon.
Her usage of a yellow blade at the end may be made to suggest acceptance of this ‘dark’ part of herself.
(And maybe remove the slight crackling lightning between Palpatine’s fingers in the opening.)
I wonder if any Poe dialogue from Resistance could help us imply that the Sith fleet was stashed during the days of the Empire. Add or replace something as Poe is briefing them on the gathered intel.
Did the DOTF draft really have her using purple lightning?
I’d read the “Don’t be afraid of who you are” line as accepting the mix of dark and light we all have or something like that.
Yes.
