Wait, are you saying the image is stretched? Might be an issue with your player.

Yeah the encoder didn’t include the empty black areas to bring it to 2.35:1. So technically it isn’t 720p, sure. But that sounds like you haven’t done anything wrong.
Well, no, I’ll still check it out!
For the moment, I don’t think it’s needed to reshuffle the end shots about the sunset. It’s just a different angle.
And while I think there’s potential in restructuring Ben’s death, I don’t see myself going that way.
Trying to please everyone is a noble endeavor but you don’t have to look further than TROS to see it’s results.

Whoa, that’s pretty cool! That could have been interesting to tie to Snoke in some way.
In my head, Snoke is a clone of Plagueis.
Someone improved the Morrison ESB Fett?
Yeah, it was fun to hop on for part of.
“But what you didn’t consider is how fucking wrong you were.”
Don’t put too much into it, just wondering about it. The line that’s there works just fine, and I can’t go back to the prequels for a few reasons.
With any luck the scene itself will just have his dialogue in the center channel. Can you send me the raw lines for now? If I get the chance I’ll see how it sounds.
JEDIT: Even though the prequel edits are over with, I need to ask.
Any idea of a better line for 3PO than, “I think I’m getting the hang of this flying business”?
In Ep1, I replaced “I can assure you they will never get me onto one of those dreadful starships” with “I hope never to end up on a mission of that nature.”
And in Ep2 I replaced “I’m not worried, R2, it’s just I’ve never flown before” with “For a mechanic you seem to do an excessive amount of thinking.”
For Ep3 I couldn’t find a slam dunk replacement so I imagine it just sounds like 3PO has settled into being a chauffeur.
Hey, Chase, that’s awesome! I’m partial to “Where is an R2 unit when you need one?”
It doesn’t feel like he needs to have memories to say such a thing, and yet still had irony. The original line was just pointedly saying “I still don’t remember anything durrr.”
This probably isn’t helped by having all the chatter on a single channel, but that’s how comm chatter has to be.
I’ll reduce the overall volume of content here before tossing the whole idea, even if severely.
I think the real goal here is something like StarTrek: First Contact did, an inaudible undertone with, small clearly understandable “vignettes” in one of my favorite scenes of the movie:
Yes, that’s a helpful example.
For Star Wars I do.
Lol yeah, I remember thinking in the theater in 2005 at 1:30AM “lol wut, Anakin’s playing GBA?”
How far we’ve come since seeing that obviously fake screenshot on Ain’t It Cool News in 2004.
Idk how this was done, but I gotta say it looks like the best of both worlds when it comes to the force Ghost issue. This one is obviously a bit over done, he looks like 90 rather than 45 (also wow why did they have Sebastian Shaw playing him, I know that the prequels we got were very different to how they were imagined based on what we hear and see in the OG trilogy but still, he was even older than Alec Guinness) but toned down a bit I think this would work as both Anakin being the man how died on the DSII and link back to the prequels as Shaw just doesn’t resemble him at all.
https://youtu.be/z-oL4rEjcfQ?t=12Did either of you actually read my comment? This fixes both issues and makes for a very pleasant compromise.
Its not like Shaw even looked like himself under Vader makeup so either way you’re asking the audience to draw a connection based on context rather than what the guy looks like.
Someone who was 1 when they were filming should not be in the movie.
I mean, to be fair, Ady is adding new pilots to the movie, some of whom I’m sure were pretty young when the movie came out. I’m personally fine with Shaw though, despite the weird age difference.

I loved seeing that in the theater. I called out, “It looks like shit!” 😀
Sure, it was said more as a snide whisper.
Hmmm, good feedback all around. Maybe less is more here. I brought the volume down a little as the chatter comes in, but raised the center channel back to zero when Poe speaks, so it’s less noisy.
I can apply the sort of ‘telephone line’ filter to more of them, also.
I figured in a fleet with thousands of ships they wouldn’t be calling in formally or in an order, but just chattering and announcing themselves haphazardly, with no one really keeping tabs.
And yes, the second rounds of “For Skywalker”s probably has too much going on.
This probably isn’t helped by having all the chatter on a single channel, but that’s how comm chatter has to be.
I’ll reduce the overall volume of content here before tossing the whole idea, even if severely.
Axlanian, if you’d like to give it a shot feel free. When I can I’ll PM you the raw material.
I agree, I’ll see about boosting the volume for a couple at the start. And I don’t want to distort all of them, but some could go further. Lando’s voice sounds super clear so I think the voices don’t need to be so modulated that it’s harder to hear them. But yeah I’ll keep tinkering with this.
Fixed the link. It’s a call to make about how prominent to make the voices. If they’re mostly loud and clear it does sound cheesy, but if there’s a lot of chatter with just a few standing out I think it works a lot better. None of us are professional voice actors, after all.
But he spent years living on Tatooine, which makes you age in dog years. 🦮
Here’s the civilian fleet! There’s still gonna be room for more submissions until I render out the final edit at some point.
Lol I remember telling my niece as Rey left Ach-to in TLJ, “Don’t risk your life going off with a dangerous guy because you think you can change him.”
