I’d legit like a comic or short story in which Luke rummages around Vader’s castle, doesn’t find it, and leaves. I mean, who among us would have scoured a square mile of area outside for it?

Just reuploaded a fixed version of V4. No creative changes have been made, and I corrected an issue in which the Finn-Rose deleted scene as they head to Crait had the dialogue misaligned. Not a huge deal but it needed fixing. I fully intend this to be the final release.

Yeah but ghosts… don’t necessarily act like human beings who take the world seriously. They are perhaps more like divine figures who intervene according to something else.

It’s a fair thing to want. I know if his and my edits become more like each other there’d be nothing left. I personally feel like that’s a little further than I want to go, but it would be easy to learn how to drop it in yourself if you don’t mind the exercise.

Yeah. I nearly had the opposite thought. It felt like “wow why is the scene treating Luke like he’s this angelic figure?”
But then it all made sense when I remembered… “hypocrisy, hubris.” This is the Luke that island Luke looked back on and felt embarrassed by. Not because he was altogether wrong, but because of his pride.

I like that! If you’re paying attention it telegraphs the saber is done for, but doesn’t get in your face.

V5 fixes graphical issues throughout the movie and also removed the little chess cameo.

Fixed V5 uploading now to the same places. I fully intend on this being final and am extremely pleased with how this project ended up, especially comparing to my feelings after finishing V1.
