THE STAR WARS SAGA - 1080P AVCHD DVD-9 for PS3 & Blu-Ray players - Episodes 1, 4 & 5 available now
Time

Just had to pop by and say a huuuuuuuge thank you to Adywan for doing this - I finished grabbing ESB yesterday and the quality is outstanding. Han, unbelievably, seems to have stopped wearing red lipstick! Who'd have thought?! And Boba's voice is back - yay!

So a heartfelt thanks to you Ady, for what is now the definitive version of my favourite ever film

Hi guys - first, thanks for this Ady - cant wait to see it!

Second, please could someone help me? - I cant get the hang of the PAR 2 repack files!

I looked it up on google and confused myself - I downloaded Quickpar and ran that: it said that everything was OK, but the RAR files still only added up to 7.86gig

After that, all the files disappeared! (doh!) - so I'm re-downloading everything.

How do I extract the rars and pars together to get the 8.35gig ISO file at the end?

Thanks in advance

*EDIT* - I found a tutorial on the quickpar site - I'll give that a go!

Ady:

Well, just flicked thru the DVD (btw I played it in an Xbox 360 HD-DVD player and the thing looks absolutely frickin amazing!)

First thing that springs out to me is the image quality - I cant see how you can better it for the DVD 9: absolutely amazing transfer.

The menus, hell - just everything about it - is on such a professional level you have utterly utterly shamed Lucasfilm. I actually considered sending them a copy (I wouldnt charge them of course lol) and asking them to send you a medal. Of course they are more likely to send lawyers - a sad fact.

So - thank you Ady: cant wait for Empire Revisited lol!!!

Yes of course - I seeded the Xvid version as soon as I got that and will do the same here

From memory though it took most of the day to get hold of the Xvid version so it will be a while b4 the DVD version is up, down and then back up again. If that makes sense!

(In fact looking at it, Ady has been uploading for 3 hours and we're at 1.12GB, so it will take him most of the day for the whole DVD to be up.)

Wow - not seen those Alderaan destruction tests before! I had guessed that the whole 'JarJar' thing was done in a jokey manner, but not at all - it really adds impact to see characters from the trilogy turning to see the impending disaster. Not really needed in the final cut of course, but very nicely done anyway!

@Mojo - yeah, all of that was unnecessary and out of order. How you can accuse Ady of 'kid with new toy' I really dont know. One of my fave things about his work is how subtle most of it is. I dont know whether you are jealous of his work or what, but please, it would be nice if you could give it a rest now - like has been said, if you are THAt bothered, just go frickin do it yourself!

I tried to find a picture of a kitten, but unfortunately all my PC seems to contain is pics of Kylie in her underwear - sorry guys!
