These are about as close to official as you can get. Most of the titles come from the official Blu-rays, but have been tweaked a bit by oojason to account for differences between the official releases and the Despecialized Edition. Hope that helps!

Wow! I’d never given this any thought, after reading this post I learned that
my copy of Jedi does indeed have chapter names, while the other two films do not.
Since I’ve yet to burn my custom projects I’m sure I would have discovered this
at that time and come hear asking this same question. Thanks for the links, I’ve
snagged all three to text files for future muxing!

You can create a new folder named CERTIFICATE, it can be empty, as it was before.
Then use Image burn to create the .ISO & .MDS files. The CERTIFICATE folder has
no purpose in these projects but some Apps & players expect it to be there.
If I remember correctly 2.6 had the same issue and this is what I did.

Easiest way (for me) would be to use ‘MKVtools’. In the ‘Merge’ tab
choose your Star Wars.MKV file in the top box. All video, audio, subtitles,
will appear in the bottom box. You can highlight & drag any track UP in the
order, you could even un-check tracks you think you’ll never need to create
a smaller file. Take note of the output directory at the bottom of the window,
the program will normally add a (1) to your original file name to prevent over
writing. This way you will NOT change the original file. I used this to add
some of Harmys Tracks to the SSE 1.6. Note: This process is very fast because
you are NOT re-encoding ANY video or audio, just moving stuff around.

3. I spent countless hours slowly downloading the AVCHD files as my anti-virus software doesn’t trust any of the FRDs recommended in TUIG. I saw (in other threads) that the MKV versions are superior if I am going to burn to Blu-ray. Are the MKV versions superior enough to justify the hours needed and GB downloaded (we have limits in AK)?

I’m doing this for my husband who is a true die-hard fan and I want to produce the best possible end result for him. I very much appreciate any and all advice offered.

There’s plenty of room on a DVD-5 for menus. They don’t take up much space and wouldn’t affect the quality of the video or audio in a significant way. The reason that I don’t make menus is that I have no time to devote to that sort of thing, and most people are happy just to watch the film anyway.

Hey guys, a question about the Chewtobacca DVD5 of RotJ 2.5. Does this contain a menu or just the movie itself? I burned the files and it plays in my dvd player but it goes straight into the movie…awesome quality by the way:) Just wanted to know if there is a menu that I am missing out on by burning it wrong? That’s exactly why I asked! I’ve got a Slovac Dub here and a Slovenian Sub!
Wondered if they were the same. I imagine someone who could read the sub
may also understand the dub! LOL Even though they are different.

Edit: Had to add this! I just watched a bit of ROTJ with the ‘Tamil’ Dub,
only the “Vader arrives” part. Damn, they got a creepy guy to do Vaders
voice! I thought the lip syncing by the Commander looked real good too!

Question! In The Return of the Jedi DE, is the “Slavac Dub” the same language
as the “Slovenščina - Slovenian” Subs, or are they different Slavic dialects?

I looked it up on the Wiki: " Slovene and Slovak are the two modern Slavic languages whose names for themselves literally mean “Slavic” "
Now I’m really confused!

If I’ve been paying attention, v2.5 of Empire would be the last of the 720p Harmy releases.
I’m waiting on that to burn this set. v3.0 will be in 1080p (if I’ve been paying attention!)

I’ve been browsing one site where all of Harmys projects reside and
can’t find a thing, I was interested in foreign language dubs that
have been improved or added since the latest versions on the DEs
have been released. Would it be best just to wait for the next Harmy
release that contains all the tracks? Am I looking in the wrong place
or looking for the wrong thing? LOL!

Another question! I know this is a Subtitle thread, but I know this may
be the best place to ask. Were there ever any improved or new Dubs done
for Harmys ESB 2.0 since it’s release? If there’s a better thread about
dubs please kick me in the right direction!

Wow! I just stumbled on this thread! I have the first 5 Godzilla films
but my copy of GHIDRAH is just awful! Is there any big difference between
the .MP4 & .MKV versions?

If we are talking about Star Wars SE, I’d say remove the first 120 minutes.

Their servers generally seem to be a little rocky. Although, compared to myspleen, they’re pretty much as reliable as Google.

The current version of Empire 2.0 includes this track: 2.0 Dolby Digital [Czech] (1992 dub)
I believe version 2.5 is in the works, it could include a different Czech Dub, Harmy

Ahhh! I didn’t know they were Alien only subs! Makes more sense, I did not even
play it that far. Are any of the other languages Alien only? I’m sure I haven’t
tested them all.
You are right about the Muxing too, it was set to “determine automatically”
I set it to NO on my next test. I was adding this the a file that already had 31
Sub tracks and the “determine automatically” setting has worked on all. We will
stay tuned to this channel for any updates in the future! Cheers!

The reason I asked was I’d just noticed Hindi subs in the 9.2 project folder,
I didn’t think they were available in 9.0. I tried muxing the 720p files into
a existing .MKV and two things happen. They first show up as default track
(already checked in VLC) and they don’t appear on screen. Yup, I’ve been reading
your readme file in folder and online and saw “only with SW/ROTJ dub” so I
tried it with the Imperfect Hindi Dub and still nothing. Not a big deal, just
about the 3rd most common language where I live after English & Latino.

Edit: I also noticed on the 1st page of this thread that “Hindi” is not
one of the languages listed.

A question? I think I read somewhere in this thread about the limit of
subtitles (in .SUP format) that could be added to a .MKV container.
Was it around 30 +/- ? How about 32 Would that work?

I originally downloaded Harmys projects as AVCHD files because of lousy speeds on my
end. I’ve since acquired the .MKV versions, but I still have the first 3 films loaded
on virtual drives along with the SSE 1.6.ISO, so I have 4 extra drives setup all the
time. Another great thing is once mounted this way you can access and re-format or
re-encoded to work with other Media devices, even brrrrr… “Apple” LOL!
