Though reading some of today's posts elsewhere I don't know if some people on these forums *should* meet face-to-face.

I agree about the booth.....that would be good for the petition.

As for meeting face to face....I think most people here are cool. The ones that would be trouble wouldn't show up at cons anyway.

Oh and by the way why isn't that ass clown no talent Rick (suck Lucas' cock) McCallum on your list or even...SUPERSHADOW.

McCallum doesn't even register on my shit list........he's such a lackey that I wouldn't waste a spot in him.

As for Supershadow......he's just a bungwad loser. Not even worthy to smell my shit.

*force chokes Jedikev*.....you have failed me for the last time, Jedikev.....

Box Set Sleeve
Time
I mailed him and he will do a custom design DVD slipcase for you........the problem is he won't do just one. I asked if he would do 5 for me and he said that he would.

It isn't worth it to go through the work just for 1 case.

Now, my only dilemma is what sort of design should I do. You can give him your design, but he sort of indicated that he would be able to design something to your specifications. I didn't pursue that with him though.

I REALLY like the official OT slipcase. I just don't want it to be a double slipcase like that one is (the DVDs go in one slip case and that slips into the bigger part).....I wanted to have a case that holds 3 DVDs and it looks just like the outer Official OT DVD slip.

But that seems sort of a waste to me to do something that's already been done.........

Anyone have any suggestions?

DAMN!!!! Why do most of you dislike Tron????

TRON WAS FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked the Black Hole too. I used to watch both these movies endlessly when I was kid. I even remember seeing both in the theater.
The volume for Tron was WAAAAAAY too loud in the theater.

Overall...I'd say Tron is better than the Black Hole.....but Black Hole is pretty damn good in my opinion too. That ending though is pretty weird.

All of you, who disliked Tron....answer me one question.....why does it suck?

But you didn't make Flash Gordon, so for you to edit it would be nothing like Lucas editing his own works.

No, but I bet it would piss him off!!!!

To be perfectly honest....nothing LucASS has done is that great.

THX, AG, or the movies he's been involved in...Willow, etc....etc......

His shining moment was Star Wars.....ESB, Indy trilogy, young indy TV show were all handled by other people with him just guiding the way.

We won't mention ROTJ though....

No, I mean his favorite films.......like Flash Gordon and stuff like that. If I made movies....there would be a disclaimer that says George LucASS is not allowed to watch this imperfect film.

Box Set Sleeve

Does anyone know where or even if I could find plain DVD box set sleeves. Sort of like the official OT DVD release. Then I can print the artwork and then paste them onto the box.

I saw a link here to a guy who made these kinds of things custom style, but I would like to do my own as I don't really like any of his styles.

Anyone have any info....

You've noticed, huh?

Actually, hate is not the right word........I loathe the motherfucker.........

I just would love to get the chance to be a gah-jillionaire and then I'm gonna buy up all his favorite movies, CGI the shit out of them, colorize them and then insert a bad CGI-looking rip-off of Jabba The Hutt. When I'm finished I'm going to take the original versions and negatives and then I'm gonna torch the motherfuckers.....and get it all on videotape just so I can mail it to him.

Ahhhhhh........my hate has made me powerful......

George.....you don't know the POWER of the dark side!!!

Additionally, the guide track that the boulder rolled down in the opening sequence was digitally removed. Most people would probably scoff at me for saying this, but I'd like to have an unaltered original - warts and all. While the content is the same, Lowry Digital still tinkered with it.

The sound remix is obvious though - I consider the re-mix better, but I'd still like the original preserved.

American Grafitti was alterered more noticeably. Check out the sunset during the opening sequence at Mel's Diner. My older VHS copy has the original sunset, but my DVD has the ILM CGI sky, which now looks like a sunset on Tatooine.

This begs the question though - is there a widescreen version of the original THX-1138 anywhere? I have it on VHS but it's pan and scan.

I never noticed the tracks being gone....I knew when I read this thread that I'd have to rewatch Raiders now.

Which AG version are you talking about? The original DVD release or the re-bundled one with AG2?

I believe there is a Widescreen LD of THX.....I'm at work and I need to check when I get home.
