Well, TV is the best place if you want quantity. Everything Hollywood puts out is crap these days. The best stuff in on the tube, so no news there for me....
I think what needs to be said is that Hollywood is spending this kind of money, yes...but they are spending it on total crap. Are they spending some of that money on talented writers? That's what I wonder. Lucas shows his true colors here a little more by saying that you have to have a brand. That's practically saying outright that he's using Star Wars as just a brand name to make money. This totally kills the PT as legitimate entries into the series. He wasn't interested in finishing the story or any kind of vision. He make something flashy with no substance so he could cash in, plain and simple.
As for his Hollywood comments, like the pot calling the kettle black. Who the hell is he to say anything? He's just as guilty as they are of spending a shitload of money and releasing garbage.
Shut up George...and keep your cat. I wouldn't give you a cent of my money. Hell, I wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire. Asshole.
My girl is gonna flip when she finds this out. She loves this movie and would definitely want to see it on the big screen.
And to the analysis further up....no horror film is meant to be taken that seriously...the only ones I would seriously think about would be Romero's Living Dead trilogy. Those got some seriously heavy themes at work there.
I have to agree there. I didn't have anywhere near an elaborate setup as Rob does here, but the sound quality is noticable. Not bad for old technology, eh? Outshines everything new!!!
I used a Sony like the one above. Never had any problems with it. I too got into vinyl and had many of my favorite albums. I have to say the original vinyl of Pink Floyd's The Wall was an awesome thing to hold in your hands. So was all the Zeppelin albums too.....
I don't mind the little changes they made. If they were just stuff like microphones and reflections, that's no big deal. I see nothing bad about fixing silly mistakes like that.
But some mistakes are good though....like the stormtrooper in SW who bumps his head on the door. Those kind of mistakes should stay!!!
Will a mod come forth and just say yea or nay on Raul's story.....
You do not have to say anything else...just tell us if "Mike from LFL" is real or part of someone's imagination and if the mods are aware of Raul's story.
I've got a DVD here that's from a DVR. It was a VHS recorded to a DVR. I believe it was a Panasonic machine.
Problem is.....I think the guy who sent it to me didn't finalize it cuz it won't play on anything I have (DVD player, computer, etc). There is data written to it and the disk isn't banged up or scratched even, so I don't think it's a disk problem.
Is there anyway I can finalize it? Is there a program that will do it for me?
I think tolerance will only happen once the OOT gets the love it deserves and is made avaiable.
For me, once I get that, I don't feel any need to argue about anything Star Wars ever again. The PT lovers have their stuff, the SE lovers have theirs and the OOT lovers have theirs too. It's really quite simple. Just go and enjoy what you want to enjoy.
The OOT lovers have been denied that and that's caused a bit of animosity between all camps. The PT vs. OT debate, in terms of story and quality and merit will always continue though...
