Where does your screen name come from?

Wait, that is the wrong penguin! The penguin that inspired Green Penguino was this much cooler penguin:

I am now going to be forever disappointed that this is not the penguin in your avatar. I'd love to see Feathers McGraw with a Green Lantern mask and ring. He'd make a far better penguin super hero than the Linux penguin with his disturbing little psycho smile...

Mine is a portion of my last name.  Real first name is John.  In high school, we had about four Johns in the class so everyone - including ourselves - took to calling us by our last names or some variation thereof, mostly out of necessity to avoid confusion over who someone was talking to or about.  It stuck.

Waitasec! Johnny Zizheimer?? From Mountainside High? Wow, small world! It's me, Jon Hagenboost. How are you?

Do you still talk to John-John Bingowingstein or John Jeditrayson? I wonder what happened to those dudes.

I think that was the singularly funniest post I've ever read on OT.com. Glad RedFive made a new redundant thread just like this thread so Fink could link to this thread allowing me to read TheBoost's post so I could laugh so hard I cried.

Username: The "twister" part I got as a real life nickname. There was this guy at camp I did something with my hands and, got the nickname "twister" from him for it.

Whoa. Now that we know that... Best. Username. Ever!

Of course, now every time I read your name I am going to be assaulted with this visual image... of you being the one person who finally managed to get the cap off of some guy's really stubborn bottle of Coke at camp. Or maybe it was a jar of applesauce...

As soon as MS said that they kept the rights to Halo I assumed that we'd start getting yearly entries like CoD. Bungie made Halo, I'm not planning on caring for the rest of the Halos.

I honestly don't know where I am in that. I really enjoyed Halo, H2, H3, and ODST, but felt like I had played an awful lot of Halo by the time Reach was being made. I was never really excited for Reach, not only because I was afraid it would be more of the same, but the whole prequel storyline didn't seem the least bit interesting to me.

I ended up buying Reach after reading some good reviews and finding it at a discount price shortly after its release. And I ended up not caring too much for it. Yet, while none of the Reach trailers sparked the least bit of interest in me, that Halo 4 teaser has me kind of looking forward to Halo 4. Maybe if different people are making it, it will actually turn out different. Halo's biggest problem was that it was a really, really good game, but it never did much growing and maturing; instead it just kind of remained the exact same game with very minor tweaks each installment. An actual evolving Halo franchise would be great, it is almost shocking to consider how little things have changed between Halo:CE and Halo: Reach. Board games have typically evolved faster than the Halo franchise.

I love the idea of that thread...alas, it's too late for me.

Ask for your account to be abandoned and make a new one...or ask for a name change, though I don't remember if that is possible or not.

I think at this point I'll stick with it. Thanks for the info though.

I for one rather like your name. Though when you first showed up my first thoughts were oh great, here comes a PT gusher. The thought that you might be some past troll's sock crossed my mind as well. You turned out to be a pleasant surprise and a lot of fun though.

Obesity and Overweight
Time

I am probably way off here, but I can't help but see this thread as being intended to be a bit of a gloat fest. It isn't like anyone who is actually obese is going to want to admit it to everyone, especially when the OP says he assumes probably 60-70% of us are overweight but makes certain to announce he isn't one of them.

Maybe you're onto something though, perhaps it would be nice to know how many of our fellow forum members are less attractive and/or dumber and/or poorer than us. I propose a series of new threads, one for posting our college GPA or to admit we didn't waste time with college, another one where we post our yearly income, and another one where we can post statistics on how frequently each of us gets laid. This could be fun!

I've had no interest at all in Duke Nukem Forever beyond the amused Wow, it is finally coming out. I have to agree with you, I seriously doubt any of what was once meant to be Duke Nukem Forever remains in this title. Feels kind of like a cash in on what became a game that was infamous for never being finished. It's kind of like someone building a city over the ocean and naming it "The City of Atlantis" and saying, "Hey, look everybody! We finally found it!"

Anyone else looking for to ICO and Shadow of the Colusses HD remakes? Never played ICO but SotC was an awesome game.

HaloA sounds great, hopefully its no more than 29.99 when it comes out. Playing the campaign online coop is great. Remember playing it for hours on end with a friend in college, really fun.

Anyone play Borderlands?

Even though I own Ico and SOTC on the PS2, I am looking forward to the HD remake. Though I do cringe thinking about dealing with those horrible controls on the otherwise near perfect SOTC. But imagining climbing colossi on a big screen TV in HD makes me very, very happy.

I agree, I really hope Halo Anniversary is a lower priced game, even being only downloadable and in the $20 range would be really nice. I am afraid they'll pull an ODST and add a bunch of fancy multiplayer features and consider it worthy of full $60 price tag.

And yes, I do play Borderlands on the 360. Love it. I've got all the expansions and (sadly) completed everything, even got the unreasonable Mad Moxxi achievements. I'd love more DLC or a sequel, after all those hours I still didn't get my fill of that game.

Xhonzi was playing it too a while ago.

Strangely ironic that the pics you use as proof of "before" are both shots where she's wearing a full size shirt that would naturally cover things up more where as the "after" shots are both bikini pics.

...

Find some "before" bikini pics or "after" shirt shots that prove your suspicion and I'll believe it...

...

Of course, since there's no documented proof one way or the other that any of this happened to her, it must be automatically a lie...right?

I fail to see the irony, and those are hardly "full sized" shirts.

I accept your before and after challenge. Always love a good challenge, and when it involves boobs you just can't go wrong.

Before (Now with bikinis!):

After (Now with 100% more "full sized" shirts absolutely free!):

All I can say for sure is that she grew. And not a little, but a lot. They went from being big, to each being the size of her head. If contraceptives worked those kinds of wonders on all women in the breast enlargement department, you'd find a lot of plastic surgeons out of work. But no one is being enlightened and actually learning anything here. It is all just a matter of believing what pleases us the most. Since she doesn't do any nude shots (that I was able to find) there is no way to check for traces of scar tissue. So it goes.

Sasha Grey. Retired from porn last month at age 23.

I used to have a boss who looked almost just like Sasha Grey. She was really fun to work for too.

I'd like Sasha Grey, but anything I have seen her in has been disturbingly abusive. Not the sort of thing I can appreciate.

I like how Mr. "obviously you're not willing to be proven wrong in the interest of actually learning something" has remained appropriately silent in light of my previous post. I sense a bit of projection in his unnecessarily zealous comment. I am, however, still more than welcome to the idea of being proven wrong and learning a thing of two if he or anyone else cares to try to explain her inexplicable growth spurt that doubled her boob size in adulthood. I am always open to learning something about boobs.

I was going to post some YouTube videos of her in motion that prove that she's not fake judging by the way she moves and the way certain types of clothing hang on her but obviously you're not willing to be proven wrong in the interest of actually learning something.

Easy there, killer! What's with the over reaction? I am always willing to be proven wrong and to learn something. Are you? You seem to be getting overly defensive about my accusation of her fake breasts being fake.

I could be totally wrong, but typically a woman doesn't go from this:

and this:

to this:

and this:

without some help from this:

As you can see from the first two photos, she was quite large and got ridiculously larger. I wouldn't be surprised if they look fairly natural in motion as your non-posted youtube videos intend to prove; from what I understand the larger they are prior to augmentation, the harder it is to tell there was work done post augmentation.

As I said, I prefer natural and more proportion. Though still too top heavy, I think she looked much nicer in her photos on SportsbyBrooks.com (where wikipedia told me her modeling career began) than the Rippley's Believe it or Not worthy tits that consist of the majority of the photos found through a GIS of her name.

Is Part 3 of Anything Ever Good?
Time

Season three of Lost was absolutely horrible. Does that apply?

I thought seasons one and two, for the most part aside from some bad filler episodes, were pretty great. Season four was a step in the right direction, season five was unbelievably good, and season six was just painful.

If you divide it into two trilogies of seasons, every third season was pants.

Anybody else ever play an old mid nineties game called The Neverhood Chronicles? From a game mechanics standpoint, it is absolutely awful, the puzzles aren't exactly hard, but sometimes they are unreasonable in the large amount of memorization and mass back tracking it makes you do. Though if it didn't make you jump through these annoying hoops, the game would be rather short.

Despite all of this, the game is very pretty... in a quirky claymation kind of way. The entire set is made out of clay and it uses full motion video as you walk around the tiny clay world. I can't recall how many times I've started this game throughout my childhood, got frustrated with it or stuck and gave up only to get in the mood to start it again a months or years later.

The last time I played this game I was probably 12 or 14 and still hadn't beaten it. Last week I started thinking about it again and decided to see if there was a Mac port of it available in the seedy underdepths of the interwebs (my old original CD-ROM is probably rotting away in a box in my parents garage), and sure enough, I found one that works brilliantly on OS X. And now, finally after all these years, I beat it today!

The game is a very pleasant and unique experience. I'd recommend it to any adventure game fans and/or clay animation fans.

4 out of 4 balls.

Maybe someday I can get my hands on its hard to find sequel for the PSOne, Skullmonkeys.

How do the storebought White Castle burgers compare to the drive-thru's?  I've never had either...

Well, the drive-thru ones are superlatively disgusting (tiny waffer of tasteless poor quality ground beef on a soggy small white bun with finely chopped onions, ketchup, and mustard), so it is a safe bet the frozen store bought ones couldn't be any worse.

On The Border is pretty awful too. Ate there once and really wished I'd wasted my money elsewhere. But every time I pass through the Kansas City area (happens way more often than I'd like) I have to eat at this place called Jose Pepper's. It is amazing! And the locals have a tendency to cock their heads and look at me funny when I say as much. It is a chain, not sure how widespread it is, KC is the only place I've seen them.

I spent two months in Texas earlier this year, passed Whataburger all the time, but never once ate at one. Upon returning home my girlfriend, who is a Texan, was very disappointed in me for not trying it out along with some chicken place that I guess is also only found in the lower parts of North America.
