How could you possibly put Terminator 3 above Salvation.  Terminator Salvation is the greatest movie ever.  Right up there with Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo.

As bad as Salvation was, I kind of enjoyed it. I actually haven't seen the majority of the movies of my "Top Ten" movies, but the ones I have seen are all movies I consider superlatively bad. Terminator 3 is one of those movies I truly loath. Just thinking about it makes me squirm in my seat a bit.

1. Independence Day
2. Transformers
3. Transformers 2
4. Transformers 3
5. Daredevil
6. Alien vs. Predator 2
7. Attack of the Clones
8. Terminator 3
9. Alien Resurrection
10. Alien vs. Predator

Sorry, I had to pull a Red Five and cheat, I couldn't leave Tokyo Drift off of there, but I couldn't displace any of the others either. Damn, this is hard. So many amazing movies out there.

Hmmm, this little tidbit got me day dreaming about what I'd do if I had a Tardis. You know, I think the Doctor has it right, if I had a Tardis I'd waste no time finding an attractive, adventurous young women to take backwards and forwards through time with me to wherever sounded the most fun that day.

CP3S, I have to be honest,  when you say that every Muslim is ridiculous and stupid,  its sounds very arrogant and presumptuous.

Fuck! Sorry, I am tired and a little grumpy; but I am having a very hard appreciating you blatantly putting words in my mouth like that. I never said anything about "every Muslim" or even any Muslim for that matter.

Now obviously none of that in any way reflects on my posting style (I'm gonna discuss star wars and pissing contests the same way whether I'm winning piano competitions or struggling as a car salesman's bitch), so you might as well let go of the stereotyping :D

It isn't really stereotyping. Your general attitude just strikes me as someone in their first year or two of college. Doesn't sound like I was too far from the truth. Wasn't meant as anything negative.

(Liked going to town and partying a few years ago, back in school... nowadays, not so much.)

Enjoy it while you can. I miss those days.

I said it's awesome because it's well articulated, and backed up.
I wouldn't say this about a "yo, you know how tings are in Saudi Aravia, those are all crackpots man", even though I'd agree with its core message.

EDIT:
You know bloody well that I've never called you a dunce simply for "disagreeing", so quit pretending otherwise.

But that is the thing, I didn't really provide any examples of Islam being the things I claimed it to be (I could, I just didn't want to get into it), and without them my argument is pretty weak and baseless, but since you agreed with it you filled in the blanks and decided it was a pretty good argument.

Probably a college freshman, if I had to guess.

Your guess is correct!

Trust me, wasn't much of a guess. Your posts reek of college freshmen.

When I was in college there were shitloads of awesome things to do (aside from studying), there was alcohol, pretty girls of low moral fiber, fraternities, and all sorts of opportunities for the fun kind of trouble.

Not sure when the semester starts in Germany, but when it does you damn well better be out there living it up rather than wasting your time in bullshit fights on a stupid sci-fi forum. ;)

I've read (an English interpretation) of the Koran, lived in an Islamic country, visited other Islamic countries, and opted to write a series of very long research papers on the subject of Islam when I was in university. None of these experiences has ever led me to change my opinions on the religion. It is very backwards and responsible for many of the problems we see in the middle-east. I guess it is nice to hold hands and get all lovey dovey about all religions being good and equal, but that is a bit like putting blinders on and looking the other way. Some things simply shouldn't be ignored, but for the last several years there seems to have been a desperate desire to ignore this one.

just what things have we ignored?

and you are going to complain about me making assumptions about Conservatives?

may I remind you that not all Muslims approve of the likes of Bin Laden?   Not all Muslims are terrorists.

How bout you take a tardis, go back to the 70's and tell Muhammad Ali to his face, that his religion is ridiculous and stupid.

I am not making assumptions, Warb. As I said, I've lived in an Islamic country, I have very close friends who are Muslims, I've read through the whole Koran (through translation, which most Muslims will tell you doesn't count as the real thing), and I've done a lot of research on the topic. My opinions of Islam are based on all these things. I am not assuming anything.

As for the Tardis comment, why do you always do that? If I disagree with Conservatives, you always tell me to take it up with Ferris. On other issues often tell me "You should tell that to someone who..."

I am not a time lord and there is no such thing as a Tardis, or time travel at all. Furthermore, I think pedophilia is horrific and disgusting; if there was a pedophile with the same physique as Muhammad Ali standing before me... well... call me a coward if you like, but I am not going to tell him to his face that what he does is "horrific and disgusting", even though it certainly, beyond any refutation, is.

In the interest of keeping my friends and being polite, I don't tell it to my Muslim friends either. At least not so bluntly. We've all talked and debated enough that they know how I feel, and I know how they feel about my beliefs (and even more spine tingling pleasant, about my culture and nationality in general).

Kind of interesting you jumped right to terrorism, Warb. I never said anything about terrorism, nor did I even think it. There are plenty of other grievances Islam is responsible for.

can't we just be like mature adults

Buddy, I spend most of my time around kids, getting to carry on conversation with mature adults is something I always really look forward to on evenings and weekends. The way you behave doesn't make me feel like I am among adults, it makes me feel like I am on high school detention duty, because that is the only other place I've come across behavior quite like yours. Even the nastiest of drunks I've encounter are far more pleasant than you.

You seem like a typical angsty, know it all teenager who can't see beyond his own opinions. Probably a college freshman, if I had to guess.

Actually, I take that back, I don't hate yours - your recent posts on this topic were awesome :D

Don't you see how ridiculous that is? Just because you happen to agree with what I am saying, my post is "awesome". If you happened to disagree with it, then you'd be telling me what a dunce I am.

And on top of that, they're all based on something that isn't true.

Don't be a hypocrite.  Prove it or shut the hell up.

The burden of proof lies with the one making the claim.
Religious claims require evidence to be valid, not "proofs of the opposite" to be invalid.

Again, that's rational discourse / skepticism 101 - you REALLY shouldn't be yawning at certain "lectures".

Twobyfour, in a topic where you and I essentially agree, I can't help but really wish we weren't on the same side because you consistently come off sounding like a complete bafoon.

btw, I *think* C3 was saying that the "comedian" was calling Islam a ridiculously stupid religion.

Actually, "ridiculously stupid" were my words.

It seems those are essentially the sort of things this guy said that got him labeled a racist (which makes as much sense as someone saying negative things about Christianity being labeled an anti-Semite). So I should probably be careful.

Can we get a quote on the racism thing? I googled it, and it seems to be the consensus that he is an asshole and a dirty racist, but I can't find out exactly what makes him a racist. It seems it is mostly because the things he has said about Islam, which has nothing to do with race and everything to do with a ridiculously stupid religion.

How many endings will I have to youtube to see the one I should have gotten?  I heard there were 200 possible endings, but I have to assume it's a matrix of maybe 5 or 6 totally different endings.

Yeah, the ending narration and accompanying still images is just like one of those children's mix 'n' match books.

Depending on the quests you completed, the way you completed them, your karma level, etc. Ron Perlman will say different things. Example:

"The lone wander left nothing but joy and happiness in his wake. | Thanks to him, the people of Megaton no longer have to live in fear of their god exploding on them (i.e. he's helped them learn to stop worrying and love the bomb *snicker*) |  Thanks to him, Dogmeat lived to the ripe old age of 11, and died fat and happy in his doggy bed while listening to the Ink Spots..."

"The lone wander was one selfish sob, leaving a trail of hurt feelings, tears, and dead pets in his wake. | Thanks to him, the people of Megaton no longer have to live in fear of their god exploding on them. | Thanks to him, Dogmeat was mauled to death by a giant scorpion at the age of 2 before he could reproduce, thus ending his long and noble doggy bloodline."

It has two hundred endings in the same way The Empire Strikes Back Mix n Match book provides kids with 200,000 combinations in less than ten pages.

I thought I'd had one of my 100%ers redacted after the release of some DLC.  I have no proof however... so I'll have to accept your word on it.

If I look at the game's achievements I obviously don't have 100%, since there are new achievements I don't have. But if I look at my nifty little (well... I say little) list of 100% completed games, it is still in there.

But 100%- that means you played the "realistic mode", eh?  How did you find it?

Minimally annoying. Some people love the added realism, but actually it is kind of dumb on the level of feeding the gigapet on your key chain back in the 90's type dumb. Oh no, my guy is getting dehydrated! I better provide him some water!

Basically it meant you had to keep lots of water in your inventory and take time out from whatever you are doing to give him a few swigs every time the "you're mildly dehydrated" message appeared. Food and sleep weren't as big a deal.

If you were running around and ran out of water and got dehydrated, your strength would be reduced and suddenly you couldn't run with all your inventory. So you have to drop some, or slowly crawl to the nearest water source.

Didn't really add any fun or even challenge to the game for me.

But hey, you know, don't go there (like any other normal member of a forum would), just keep asking for copies.
Or GO BY THE FUCKING DVD, to support the company. Do you think you can afford one little season of a year-old show?

Uhhh... Fink didn't ask for copies of anything...

You do live in your own little tiny world, don't you?

If anyone has the german dvds or a dvd with a german audio track it would be amazing if you could send me the audio

So you don't like it when I use the term "fail" on you, do you? You'd like me to stop, hm?
Well, you don't give me any reason.

Twooffour, you've truly outdone yourself this time. I am quite impressed.

There is a word you have quotation marks around in the above post, I'd really like to use it right now, but I don't need to because everyone who just read your post is thinking it right now.

Congratulations, CP, for shooting yourself in the foot with this one.

Rather ironic that you should fall into this dumbass trap, after being warned:
"NEVER GO UP AGAINST A SICILIAN WHEN DEATH IS ON THE LINE! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA!"

Meh.
