It's sad that I know that quote is from Flight of the Navigator.

George hid the original prints for the original trilogy in the same place he hid his chin. Find his chin, and you shall find what you seek OOT fans.

Sith stupidity!

Both stories are comedy gold. I can't wait to see the video of those two kids up on the net.

But I just couldn't imagine buying something at a store and someone walking in with a Darth Vadar helmet and sticking the place up.

"*Hoooooperrrr* Put the cash in the bag lady! *Hooooooooperrrrr*"

Episode 3: Fan Editing Ideas Discussion
Time
Wrong with you what is? No problem with Yoda's talking I see . All in your head it is.

MagFan, thanks for taking the time to do all of these re-edits. You've definately helped to contribute to the amount of people that have come to these forums (myself included, because I wouldn't be posting here if I hadn't heard about the re-edits and found these boards), as well as the Star Wars experience. I can nitpick tons of things about TPM and AOTC, but only one thing about your edits. That one thing being the garbled backwards language. But even though it is a bit offsetting, the subtitles and character redemption it gives as a result more than make up for it. Thanks again, and I can't wait to see how FotR turns out.

Things you DID NOT like about Episode III

* There were major continuity problems and ridiculous plot holes large enough for a truck to go through, things a child could detect after reading the script, but that's how the prequels are.

* Not enough Vader. and I mean the REAL Vader. After he gets the suit the movie ends in about 2 minutes. We should get at least 15 more minutes of film after the suit.

* Cut scenes that SHOULD NOT be cut. The scene in Dagobah and Qui-Gon's scene SHOULD have been in the final movie. There was absolutely no reason for removing them. Pace problems? Those scenes were in the final 5 minutes! By cutting Qui-Gon's scene, he cut from the SW saga the whole explanation about the Jedi spirits!

* Anakin's fall to the dark side is too drastic and not well played. It seems like GL was aiming for a subtle change, but suddenly he saw himself at page 100 on the script and decided to just make him go to the dark side like that *snaps fingers*. Also, Anakin becomes Palpatine's servant too easily. But then, if you think about it, there was NO way to make that character go to the dark side in a 2 and a half hour movie...

* The middle section feels rushed AND slow at the same time, and that's not good. It suffers from the same problem as the prequels: two-sided dialogue being rapidly intercut by... a two-sided dialogue. And again. And again. Headache material here, folks.

* R2D2's absolute power, with oil and jets. They did an excelent job erasing the droid's memories, as R2 also forgot his abilities...

* Acting. While ROTS has the best actings in the prequels, it still have some horrible moments. Natalie Portman's acting in the first half of the film, Ian McDiamand going a little bit over the top and changing his voice characterization in the middle of the scenes (later dub problems, perhaps?). Hayden's every scene. Samuel L Jackson and Ewan McGregor, when they are forced to act to absolutely nothing (you can FEEL the greenscreen on their acting sometimes).

* While the SFX were not as disturbing and horrible as the previous prequels movies, it is still very annoying.

* J.E. Jones horrible job as Vader. Even though he had three lines, and one of them was "noooooo!", he delivered them like he didn't care.

* Hayden in Vader suit, acting as a fool. DAVID PROWSE should be there. He deserves it.

* Padme's death. She gave up living and died of a broken heart? What is this, an early Shakespeare play? A Byron poem? Absolutely ridiculous.

Only C3PO's memory was wiped. When Organa issues the command, he only mentions it for the "protocol droid". Which also explains why R2D2 was so determined to get to Obi Wan in A New Hope.

By the way, even though I liked the movie and enjoyed it, I agree with everything on this list. That about sums up my complaints and nitpicks.

I have to agree with you here, HotRod! That scene practically made me sit up and take notice in the theatre- it shows, either on purpose or by accident, that George Lucas may still have the heart of a filmmaker beating in his chest.

That is what is called 'inner dialogue'- unlike 99.9% of the PT films we the audience are not stupid and don't need every freaking emotion uttered out loud. That one scene did more to communicate the inner turmoil both characters felt and the feelings that they had for each other than, IMHO, ANYTHING else in the trilogy.

Yeah, that moment spoke volumes without a word being uttered. Just like when the mask lowered onto Vadar's face, the music stops, and he takes his first breath.

I kept picturing him drunk at some high-rolling celebrity party trying to make other celebs see the folly of 'Greedo shooting first'.

"Heey... Vigo... man, it was great werkin wi you on Lord on my Rings. Hey... you ever see star warzz? See, cuz now Greedo shoots first? Can you beleve it, Vigo? That totally takes away from the badassedness of Han, don'cha think? Hiccup! S'cuse me."

Anywho, I thought it was cool, and I liked his use of the word badassedness.

That's some well typed out drunk-scottsman-speak right there sledge.
