IMDB Daily Poll (11/3/05)
Time
Rocky VI
Mission: Impossible III
X-Men 3
The Passion of the Clerks
Superman Returns
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Sin City 2
Underworld: Evolution
Big Momma's House 2
Final Destination 3
Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction
Ice Age 2: The Meltdown
Scary Movie 4
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
Garfield 2
The Grudge 2
Rush Hour 3

WTF Fast and the Furious 3? Garfield 2? BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE 2??? Martin Lawrence thought that pile of crap needed a sequel? HAHAHAHA!

I'm looking forward to X-Men 3, Underword: Evolution, and Pirates of the Carribean 2 though. Looking at the other titles is sickening.

Movie production updates for Terminator 4 And Star Trek XI
Time
No more Terminators. Part 3 was bad enough. Leave it at pt. 2 with the great unknown ending it had.

Most people probably won't agree with me, but I liked all of the TNG movies from Generations to Nemesis. Some of the movies had weaker parts than others, but they were all enjoyable, though I would say Insurrection would be the weakest.

But at this point every single timeline of Federation development has pretty much been covered. Why do another movie? I'm guessing they'll be using the Enterprise cast for this. But the Federation/Romulan war doesn't really seem like it would be that interesting. The Federation/Klingon war IMO would be a lot better.

Ghostbusters 3
Time
Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II still rank up there in my top favorite films. After reading the script idea, I think it would have made an awesome sequel. Unfortunately they may be too old to do it now. It's amazing just how perfect the Ghostbuster movies turned out and I think the 3rd one could have been just as good.

I really feel for you Ric. My brother went in his wheelchair to go grab some food, and when he was coming back, he was hit and killed by a drunk driver. The driver stopped long enough to figure out what had happened and then took off. I'm glad they found the bastard, but the punishment didn't fit the crime at all. 5 years probation and license revoked (I think for those 5 years).

I somewhat share in Davys view in the eye for an eye principle. Either the guy that did that to your uncle got too little discipline as a kid, or was abused severely. The point is, if you slap someone in the face because you think it's funny and then get slapped back, a normal person would say "Wow, that hurt! Is that what I did too that guy? That was pretty mean." But some people don't make that connection unfortunately.

It's f*cked up enough to not just rob a house, but to stab one of the people he was taking hostage out of spite means that guy is way beyond help. While I would like to see a person like that stabbed, sewn back up, given time to heal up, and then stabbed again, but it probably wouldn't matter. That person has screwed up his life so much, that there is no hope for him getting better. I'd say put him in the death chamber, but then again I'm from Texas.

THE ALL NEW PSYCHO REVIEW HAS MOVED

SO, FOR THOSE WHO ARE MAKING FAN EDITS THIS MIGHT BE WORTH BUYING. MUCH OF THE DIALOGUE IN THE CLIPS ARE CRYSTAL CLEAR MEANING THAT YOU DON'T HAVE THE MUSIC MIXED IN WITH IT. I'M SURE THAT WILL BE OF SOME INTEREST TO OUR FINE GROUP OF EDITORS HERE, BUT FOR EVERYBODY ELSE IT'S JUST NOT WORTH IT.

Thanks! And I was actually going to make the hike out to Wally World and pick it up. Maybe not. What's the price difference on it? Or was it a free bonus disc?

If they were closed when you got there, were you going to hold them up with a bee bee gun?

Romances AS bad or worse than Episode II's?

But can we think of others that are almost as bad if not as bad or worse than the unnatural pairing of Anakin and Padme? Let's give it a try.

First up, I nominate Will Smith's agent Jay and Rosario Dawson's what's-her-name girl in Men In Black 2. That was not a very pleasant "romance" to sit through either.

Then there were the laughably bad "romances" of Daredevil and Elektra, in which Elektra is either supposed to be falling in love with Daredevil/Matt Murdock (in the former) or Mark Miller (in the latter). Neither one is convincing.

Anymore... oh yeah, the contrived romance of Halle Berry and Benjamin Bratt in Catwoman. And the not too believable love story of Keira Knightley's Guinevere and Clive Owen's Arthur in King Arthur.

Can you guys think of anymore?

Men in Black 2 stunk, and that supposed 5 minute fall in love "oh wait but i have to go because i'm the chosen one" story was aweful. But the "love story in MIB 2 is just slightly less annoying than Frank the Dog in this one. That movie just plain crapped on the original.

Agreed. Such a powerful and melancholy song.
