Who are your 10 favorite and least favorite characters from all six SW films?
Time
Top 10 Favorite (1 being the best):

1. Darth Vadar (OT)
2. Obi-Wan Kenobi (OT & PT, because Ewan was just that good)
3. Yoda (OT)
4. Han Solo
5. Luke Skywalker
6. The Emperor
7. Leia (Jabba scene *yowza* )
8. Boba Fett (OT)
9. Qui-Gonn Jin
10. Darth Maul

Top 10 Worst (1 being the worst):

1. Jar Jar
2. Boss Nass
3. The librarian from Ep. II (only 2 lines to give and they both sucked - "Camino....Cammmiiiinnnno" *barf*)
4. Nute Gunray
5. Dex
6. The droids (the "Roger Roger" droids - not referring to R2 or 3P0)
7. General Grievous (so much potential unfulfilled in this character)
8. Darth Vadar (Ep. III "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" )
9. Ep. I and II Anakin (Ep. III while being flawed was much better)
10. The Ewoks (Have to point out one thing from the OT right?)

Favorite 2 composers of modern day:

1. John Williams

2. Danny Elfman

With those two, there's no need for a third.

Hmmm... as a body of work I personally prefer Hans Zimmer to Danny Elfman (apart from his Boingo days!). And Howard Shore has come a long way from Saturday Night Live..

Good point. Zimmer and Shore definately have talent as composers. Elfman's work though just really seems to hit the spot for my ears.

hahaha your right, but here's my take. luke unlike all of the jedi of the OR used his emotions when he fought. he if you will used both sides of the force together, the raw emotion of the sith, and the came an control of the jedi. heres how i look at it. the force was out of balance even in the days of the jedi concil, because instead of listening to the will of the force everything was caught up in doctorine and following the code down to a key. anakin not only destroyed the sith he also destroyed the order that had strayed. and he gave rise to luke, the one that is balanced in the force, AND this is going a little way inthe future and it also involves going out on a lim but anakin also gave rise to leia, whos sun is jacen solo. in the EU series Jacen unifyies the two sides of the force, he discovers that there is no good or bad there is just the force. he unify's that doctorines of the sith and the jedi in something that is good and will bring peace to the jedi and to the galaxy. read traitor if you want to learn about what i am talking about, it is a great stand alone book too.

I've never read any EU stuff (yet anyway ), but I really like that take you have.

what would you do if george reshot the OT with new actors & CGI so it flowed with the PT?
Time
I would rent it if I were bored, but only if the OOT came with it. But since it would be a totally new remake with new actors etc., that would be the final nail in the coffin for the OOT, because there would be no way Lucas would ship a 100% remake with the untouched (minus making them DVD quality, of course) original movies.
