And that’s awesome feedback, CaptainFaraday! Thanks for passing that along. I like the glimpse into how others see this who have no involvement in its making. 😃
I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently.
Hello there !!! happy christmas everyone! I have not seen OT for a long time, I have had a lot of work hahahah. I hope everyone is doing well, fighting the pandemic. I have private messages that I have seen now, but I have seen that V2 has already been published, congratulations to all!
Could you have a link to the edition? 😃
Hi jonh! Since I know you’re a busy guy, I just want to take a moment while you’re here to say thank you for your incredible VFX work on this project. Having those ghosts during the finale is arguably the biggest redeeming factor compared to the theatrical film - it truly is extraordinary, seamless work.
On behalf of Star Wars fans everywhere - thank you!!

Apparently, the movie file comes equipped with subtitles on Plex already! 😀

Welcome back, jonh! Do you plan on improving upon the Phantom Four sometime in the near future? 😃

Hey jonh! What a pleasant surprise. Does anyone remember that scene in Superhero Movie (spoof of Spider-Man) where a bunch of different animals start humping the hero?
heil Palpatine!

One other tiny thing I’m adjusting for the V2 reissue is to tweak the single shot of Jakku to be a half step closer to how it looks in Starlight. 😉

I’m losing my shit at this whole exchange.

I unfortunately do.
The name’s Lawson. Noah Lawson.
Now that I’ve seen it on a better screen I noticed that the TIE advanced on Exegol looks a bit warm (i.e. it has a brownish hue) compared to Luke’s X-wing and the rest of the scene.
Can I get a link to the folder? My old one is broken. Thanks! Can’t wait to finally watch V2, I’ve been putting off watching the whole thing until it was finished.
Very excited to take a look. Congrats on finishing.

I had this same thought, especially considering how Nev has no plans to work on TROS.
Oooh, nice! I missed Hal saying that. It’s a thought I’d had too, but didn’t want to mention because I thought it might be too much of an ask to have a fanedit by one editor directly reference one specific other edit. But I’ll take it please! Purgatorial washed-out Jakku, delicious!

Bahahaha, this is amazing, including the original enchange.
Great to hear from you jonh, hope you’re doing well!!!

I could make an adjustment here, especially if Hal is going to make a couple tweaks. Just curious, have you tried a couple different screens? I don’t really see any warm brownish hue, but I could make it more cooler/blue just in case.
WTF have I walked in on? 😂

I really do not notice anything at all off in the color of the TIE, and have begun encoding video. But if poppasketti wishes to revise it at all, that’s fine. Just please let me know soon, as I have everything else about ready.

Sounds like a personal display issue to me.
I checked on both my laptop and my TV. It could be that it’s only noticeable once the Exegol LUT is applied? It’s not the biggest of deals but it’s deffinitely there. I guess I’m more sensitive to this sort of thing, it’s the “green tint” on Rogue One all over again lol.
I took a year off from Star Wars (again). In the meantime, I seem to have lost my bookmark to Hal 9000’s treasure trove on Google Drive, and would now be thankful for a link. It seems a lot was done during the past 12 months by Hal and others in the community, and based on the cutlist, it looks like an impressive project.
