You need to change the output settings so that it renders a video file instead of a single PNG. Or if you want a PNG sequence, hitting the Animation button should render that. Might be wrong, just going off memory here. Or maybe your frame range isn’t set right?

You need to download version 2.79b of blender. The crawl creator currently does not work with version 2.8 because they removed the blender renderer and replaced it with Eevee. The workaround is to switch to cycles (which is slower) and change the material settings for all of the elements of the crawl which takes some time to do. So as of right now, the quickest solution is to uninstall version 2.8, then download and install version 2.79b, then open the Custom Crawl Creator with that. Yes, you would just need to unhide the ALTA text and then follow the same steps you would when editing the actual crawl text

You need to convert your png to a eps or other vector graphic. Then import your graphic in to blender, size it to the STAR WARS logo and position it in 3d space to where the logo is located. Finally you need to parent your new logo to the STAR WARS logo and turn off the STAR WARS logo’s visibility so it won’t render. That should do what you need it to do. Though, you could have easily looked up all of this on your own using google.

Not really improvements really, I just updated the blend file to work with newer versions of Blender. The previous versions used the Blender internal renderer (spelling?). Now it works with Eevee and Cycles.

@jackpumpkinhead - I did PM you if there are any links to DL. Wanted to also thank you for setting these up and giving info/instructions within the project. Couldn’t do this anywhere near as fast with out yea!! Appreciate your efforts and help in the community!!

Yeah, I just DM’ed you the link. There have been a few people who have asked how to change things with this project like color, speed of the crawl, fade outs etc, etc. and really this is to just recreate what Adywan has done for his revisited crawls. It is 100% customizable, but I honestly don’t have the time or patience to dive into everything someone could change and how. I feel like there are enough YT videos out there explaining the basics of Blender and how to do anything they would want with it.

I will do my best to help out when I can. But mostly it’s only to get someone started with their own crawl.

I’d also appreciate a link, please.
