Atom-88’s Prequel Trilogy:
Project_9000
My PT edit’s are all based off of Hal9000’s PT as after finally completeing my own edit from scratch although being happy and proud of what I had achieved I still felt like there was still something missing and found myself going back and forth for the last couple of months on my own vs Hal’s and decided to go back to what I had originally done with my Half Assed Edits but this time putting in some of the new skill’s I learned along the way, so these are not just a cut a paste job anymore and I have removed the half assed from my trilogy title but now pay homeage and tribute to Hall9000’s edits as it is those that brought back my love for Star Wars back in 2018ish, so if these suck it’s Hal’s fault lmao (Only Joking).
So here we go … Again lol.
Episode I - Project_Deception_9000: Runtime - 1:55:58.
Source used - Hal9000’s Cloak of Deception, Hal9000’s Maximilist and Phase3 upscaled deleted scenes.
Changes & Additions:
Audio - Converted the DTS track to 5.1 LPCM
(This is due to my setup, editing on an old dell t3600 running linux).
Video - Adjusted contrast and brightness very slightly.
- Added a light digital noise (film grain).
0 - Title/Crawl - Cloak of Deception.
1 - Slightly trimmed and tightned destruction of the Radiant VII.
2 - The inclusion of the Gungan city.
3 - Trimmed meeting with Boss Nass.
4 - Trimmed meeting with Watto (Qui-Gon no longer tries his Jedi mind trick on him).
5 - Trimmed down to Podrace to exclude the two headed announcer (We don’t see him but hear some of his commentary) and removed Jabba the Hutt.
6 - Cut Obi-Wan’s Line “Why do I feel we’ve picked up another pathetic lifeform”.
7 - Trimmed and cut some of Anakin’s lines during his space battle “How about spinning, that’s a neat trick” and “Take this”.
Episode II - Project_Storm_9000: Runtime - 1:56:08.
Source used - Hal9000’s The Approaching Storm and Schorman13’s 2004 HDTV Rip.
Changes & Additions:

1 - Trimmed the destruction of the ambassadore’s ship and Cordé’s death.
2 - Trimmed Obi-Wan and Anakin in elevator.
3 - Trimmed interaction with JarJar, Padame, Obi-Wan and Anakin, so it doesn’t come off so intense.
4 - trimmed chase scene only slightly.
5 - Trimmed Padame and JarJar scene (Padame just tells JarJar that he is to take her place).
6 - Trimmed Anakin and Padame scene (Anakin does not mention being ahead of Obi-Wan, Just that Obi-Wan doesn’t think that Anakin is ready for the trials).
7 - Trimmed the librarian being snarky with Obi-Wan.
8 - Re-Arranged and trimmed Obi-Wan chasing Jango in space (Followed along with JoyofEditing’s YT Channel).
Episode III - Project_Labyrinth_9000: Runtime - 2:01:13
Source used - Hal9000’s Labyrinth of Evil and Schorman13’s 2004 HDTV Rip.
Changes & Additions:
Audio - Converted the DTS track to 5.1 LPCM
(This is due to my setup, editing on an old dell t3600 running linux).
Video - Adjusted contrast and brightness very slightly.

0 - Title/Crawl - Labyrinth of Evil.
1 - Trimmed space battle only slightly.
2 - Trimmed Anakin and Padame’s first interaction.
3 - Reinserted Yoda and Darth Sidious duel (light trims to tighten it up a bit)
4 - Yoda does not mention going into exhile for failing.
5 - Padame Lives ending.

These edits don’t reinvent the wheel or anything special and there isn’t much difference between these and other edit’s and they are heavily inspired by Hal9000, Octorox and SpenceEdits work, I highly recommend you check them out.
All credit for these go to Hal9000, Phase3 and Schorman13, I would also like to thank Octorox, Spenceedits, JarJarBricks and many others for sharing their work not just with myself but with everyone else.

Project_88SE
My OT edit’s are all based off of the 97SE editions and am hoping to not adjust these too much but rather remove some of the slightly annoying things, Orginally I wasn’t going to bother after the PT edits but thought why not, everybody got one so here’s mine lol.
Again as the PT these don’t do or add anything special and certainly not trying to reinvent the wheel but just have something I am happy with and with there being a lot of SW stuff out there whether it had an official release or an edit I want to have something of my own and something that fits in nicely with my PT edits. Once again all credit goes to the original editors of these.

Following JoyofEditin’gs video tutorial I made some adjustments to the attack on the Tantive IV.
Change list:
1: Shorter introduction to R2D2 and C3PO.
2: Removed C3PO’s line of “What’s That” as the Tantive is being pulled in by tractor beam,
3: Removed R2D2 and C3PO’s power walk during the battle on the Tantive.
4: Revmoved Vader throwing Captain Antilies against the wall after chocking him.
5: Removed Laia hiding when the Storm Troopers are approachig and have Laia shoot as the notice her.
6: Removed R2D2 telling C3PO about a secret mission and shortened their escape.
7: Removed R2D2 again telling C3PO about a secret mission on Tatooine.
8: Removed original dialouge from Luke and Obiwan at Obiwan’s place so Obiwan now says “I wanted you to have this” instead of Your father Wanted You to have this". (audio clip borrowed from Hal9000’s Custom Edition).
9: Trimmed down entering Mos-Eisley to remove worker droid and jawa scenes.
10: Removed Greedo shooting, so now it’s only Han shooting.
11: Removed Jabba Scene and used a transition wipe.
12: Revoved original video of the Falcon entering hyperspace after escaping the death star and borrowed the scene from Hal9000’s Custom Edition so it has the blue flickering light.
Thing’s I did consider but didn’t want to alter too much was using an upscaled edit of Adywan’s Revisited mainly for the visual fixes of Darth Vader and R2D2 but to be fair until I read about them they had completley passed me by for years and also the Obiwan and Vader duel, also originally was going to use Hal9000’s OT edits as my main source but wanted to try and do my own as I felt that if I used Hal’s there is nothing to really do.
I had considered using the alternate audio clip for lukes line “blast it biggs where are you” to “blast it Wedge where are you” like other edits have but I have always seen it as Luke and Biggs are friends before all this and when watching you notice that they have each other’s backs up there so to me it make sense for Luke to say “Blast it Biggs” even tho wedge says for luke to hold on.
Another decision that was a tough one which has made this edit out of numerous other edits is that I did initially use Schorman13’s HDTV Rips but the Magenta was too much lol.
