I hate this stupid idea and I hate everyone who’s contributed to it.

Don’t exeggutor’s eggs have an explosion move? Egg bomb, or something like that? We don’t necessarily need the energy axes, we just need something scary for Finn and Rose to pull back from. That could be one of the eggs, glowing/charging up/about to explode.

In the Crait battle, should they be riding on flying pokémon? Should the battering ram be a pokémon firing some sort of beam attack? Should Finn’s ride be a pokémon that’s weak to that attack? Should ‘it’s super effective’ appear as his ride crashes?

In the final fight between Kylo and Luke, Luke’s pokémon should be one with illusion.

Rian Johnson has said that the bombers from the beginning were supposed to evoke cows (in his original script). Maybe they’re space Miltanks or similar.

I hate that I’m going to enjoy watching this stupid movie, you bastards.

The final confrontation with Luke and Kylo must be a Zoroark.

Praetorian Guards are Scizors, but for some reason one of them is a scyther with a bad paint job.

I’ll see how it looks when I actually edit it; I’m thinking it might be easiest to just have a big blade of grass.

I was going to have Luke’s team be Red’s team for the joke at the end of TFA and beginning of TLJ, but if there’s a way to do this that makes sense (and I use the word “sense” in the spirit of this edit) I like this idea.

Whichever pokémon they use, Luke’s just keeps using moves that raise its evasion, and Kylo can’t get a hit in.

With respect, I think doing a poor rotoscope would be mandatory for getting this thing made.

Rowlett. It has a similar body style. For some reason, one of the “baby” porgs you see in a nest is a Dartrix.

I’m going to make Rose’s partner pokémon Meltan. She has it instead of the Hasian smelt medallion, and Paige has a shiny version.

It’s also easy to get the right phonemes to make Finn say “Give it back! You have no idea how much that Meltan means to her” and DJ say “Meltan - best conductor.”

Holdo feels like the pokemon evolved form of Jesse.

I figured you’d do the whole thing with G5 style animated sprites overlaid on the actual film.

Oh, yeah! I forgot that I’d be cutting that along with every fight scene. My plan is to do it in Pokémon Showdown, since I can set that up with custom match-ups and control the outcome.

Some kind of fairy type. Maybe Snubull.

I’m leaving towards this as well.

It looks like conversations are stalling while waiting for new content in some of the bigger threads, which means it’s the perfect time to bump this monstrosity for suggestions.

I think this was mentioned, but using alolan Vulpix and/or Ninetails to replace the crystal fox things would be good. Oh, and there needs to be one that “transforms” into a Zoroark when it trips.

I’ll add some Cryogonal as well, for the line “Where’d the crystal critters go?”

Unless that line could somehow be made to reference Crystal Version.
