Who has two thumbs, is working on a film out of town, and while there, has started up an amazing secret fling with one of his co-workers, and is coming onto the internet to brag about it...?

THIS GUY!

(You can't see because it's text, but I'm pointing my thumbs at myself.)

Oh, and apparently C3PX is talking about some kind of movie in relation to me?  Eh, I dunno.  I'm too busy bragging to keep up with this thread.  But I can guarantee that, for the next two weeks, I am anything but "tight lipped."  Heeheeheeheeheeheehee!
Nice! When you say co-workers, do you mean someone working on the film with you, or one of your Victoria Secret models I know work at every store?

Tell me more, tell me more, did you get very far?
Tell me more, tell me more, like, does he have a car?

Tell me more, tell me more, was it love at first sight?
Tell me more, tell me more, did she put up a fight?

Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, yeah!

Skyline - 8 human vacuums out of 10

Really!?!  I gave it Negative -1 Red Brains out out 10.

The film itself is total garbage.  But the cool shiny things made my eyes drool.  I will amend the score.

Oh, okay.  We're good.

Though I have to say the ending was very... unique and unexpected.

I think season 5 is the best and most consistently strong season of Lost, even though most people liked season 1 best.

Season 5 was pretty good.  But I'm pretty sure it painted them into several corners which led to my epic sad at Season 6.

Primarily: Can they change the past?  There are 2 potential outcomes, and both seem highly dissatisfactory.  If they can't change the past, then Season 5 was a big waste of time trying to do it.  If they can, then seasons 1-5 are a waste of time, because it's that past that's being changed and season 6 is essentially a mulligan.  That's why I thought the apparent "dual time line" approach to the start of Season 6 was genius.  It maintained both potential outcomes which seemed to solve, or at least prolong, the problem.

Man, I used to so love LOST.

I have to admit I really enjoyed this place a lot more years ago before all the AK's and Pessimists, that is why I am SO glad to be done with my latest project and soon as I see what people think and I figure out how I am going to share these, I may retire from here to LOL.

By "AK's" I thought you meant Adamwan Kenobi's.  ;|

No, you are!

No, Frink is.

Whenever I post something on a random topic, even with the slightest bit of "argument" against someone else, he's all too glad to burst in and post some stupid dancing gif, or wittily remark how I'm smarter than everyone or crap like that.

He just can't let it go.

Sorry, my comment was meant to be ironic.  An "I am rubber, you are glue" type of thing, but with tongue firmly in cheek.

Sorry if it was taken actual literally.

Can I assume that works even if I've already killed dog meat?

Yes. And even if you kill him before the Broken Steel expansion is installed. I will even bring him back to life if you killed Dogmeat and never had him as a companion. I think it assigns a new name to each dog too, which is kind of cool.

Looking forward to it.  Dog Meat's death remains my biggest regret.  Though getting "him" back after 20 levels without him may not really make up for it.  :(.....

I installed all of the DLC even though I've been ignoring it (as far as I know) for now.

Ah, didn't realize you had them already. Good.

Yeah, I think I told you- but I got the GotY edition.  For $11.  The price I was willing to pay was $30.  I saw it once for $30, but had too many games and a wife who wasn't giving me any allowance.  Then GameStop had it on sale for $18.  I bought 3 $18 games (Just Cause 2 and Borderlands GotY) for the price of 2: $36, -10% for being a card carrying addict member +tax... roughly $11 apiece.  I did have to call/stop by three different shops that each had one of the games... but they were all on my way home.  When I did the "return and rebuy with the b2g1 coupon" at the last gamestop, the three clerks were pretty impressed.  Those are each quite massive games.  Especially when you throw in all of the DLC.

Come to think of it... I think maybe I shouldn't have started F03 while I was still playing Borderlands...  Or at least, I had that thought when I interrupted my FO3 weekend to play Borderlands with Zombriend one last time before he moved (I thought you would approve of this distraction) and I had a harm remembering which was which- especially at the controller level.

On that note, any suggestions as to when to tackle the DLC?  I assume most of you played it after the main game simply since you didn't have it whilst playing the main game.  I've sort of naturally planned on doing the same thing.

Broken Steel came out shortly after I first beat the game. All the other DLC are just random little side stories, so those ones you could really do at any time. Broken Steel is the continuation of the main storyline and picks up immediately after beating the game (originally, the end of the game was the end, and you didn't continue on after).

The way I did it I think I got the maximum enjoyment out of it. I beat the game and did most there was to do, then every few months I'd have a new chapter along with new perks and content to look forward too. Was kind of pricey buying the DLC as it was released, but I think I enjoyed each one enough to be worth it.

So... you were playing the game as each DLC came out... you played Anchorage and Pitt as they came out, but didn't finish the actual game until just before Broken Steel came out?  And then you played Broken Steel and Point Lookout and Mothership as each one came out, a couple of months apart?

There are currently three FO:New Vegas DLC's.  WikiP tells me that at least two more are on the way and possibly as many as three more after that.  So maybe I'll take my well earned break from Fallout after I finish 3 so that I can score a deal on the GotY edition of New Vegas.

I've had a stray thought to delete the Broken Steel DLC so I can experience the ending of the game without it.  And then add it on later for the "authentic" experience.  But I think I'm actually (literaly) too lazy to do that and I'll just youtube it.  Suggestions?  (I'm also worried that though I haven't "done" anything with the DLC, it might still create shenanigans with my save file...)

Collecting [Quantum] was really annoying. The star bottle caps you have to collect in New Vegas made the Quantum Cola challenge feel like a breeze though.

 Crap.

Carp, new page. Did you see the edit to my last post on the last page about the Dogmeat puppies perk in Broken Steel?

No, I just read it.  (Did you read my extended post right above it?)  Can I assume that works even if I've already killed dog meat?  I think I saw that as a perk that's a few levels after 20.  I'm almost to 20 and think I can go onto 21 right away even if I haven't started Broken Steel.  I installed all of the DLC even though I've been ignoring it (as far as I know) for now.

As I was reading over this my brain registered the name "Walter" as "Warbler". Which caused me to let out a hearty real actual literal LOL.

Oh, does Warbler buy scrap metal too?  I guess he does live in steel territory... AKA The Pitt.

I have 7 bobble heads and 26 bottles of Quantum!

I had 27 Bottles of Quantum... but I ACCIDENTALLY DRANK ONE!  And, sadly, it was too far back to my last (auto/) save to go back.  Well, at least I had radioactive urine for a couple of hours...

I felt like I was really kind of knocking the quests out.  I know I've focused on a lot of non quest stuff... but I thought I'd done 30 quests or so in my ~35 hours of play.  Some quests took longer than others, but I sware that I did some of them in about 10 minutes.  Then the loading screen dispelled this myth: Play time: 35 hours.  Quests completed: 15.

Ouch!  I guess I've spent way more time chasing after Quantum Nuka Cola than I thought...  And those Bobble heads.  And selling scrap metal to Walter. And decorating my pad in megaton.  Though it's not nearly as swanky as this guy's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6B0wdrDohJw&feature=related

Actually... I'm really just mad that his Dog Meat is still alive.  :(  RIP xhonzi's Dog Meat.

I had a pretty good rhythm going- Fill my pockets with loot.  Take it back to my Megaton house and put the stuff I wanted to keep in my lockers.  Repair any heavy guns with other ones in my lockers.  Heal/de-rad/de-tox.  Chill my Nukas.  Get some water if it's ready.  Head over to Moira's and sell crap I don't want.  Head over to Walter's and sell my scrap metal.  Head back out to the wasteland with empty(ish) pockets!  Moira had so much expensive stuff for me to buy, she always had a lot of caps or stuff that I could trade for.  But now...  she has basically crap and no caps.  The caravans that can be found outside of Megaton have been good to trade, but it takes a few more seconds to get out to them... and then they might not even be there!  And I think Crazy Wolfgang doesn't really have anything left to sell me or any caps now too!

I have 8k in caps, so I suppose I can stop hoarding/flipping every tin can I see...  but... but... OCD SAYS I MUST!

Moira gets a few caps if I have her repair some of the stuff I don't repair myself.  But it's not really enough for me to keep going back to her.  I think I need to start a new house somewhere next to a new trader.
