Octo's old avatar was a Princess Leia Mii.  He clearly stated, "Not a woman" or something like that next to his avatar, but I don't let that keep me from making jokes.  I will never admit to having said this, but I know Gaffer is not a woman.  It's mildly amusing to me to keep insisting she is, however.  Sort of like the whole ignoring over the use of the non-word  ##regardless.  I suspect I will keep doing it to the delight and laughter of no one.

Yeah, and the glue on the bindings of those books were terrible.  I'm generally an EU fan, but I am embarrassed by the attempts to bring these into canon.

VGA on Spike tonight.  They announced Force Unleashed 2, Batman Arkham Asylum 2, Green Day Rock Band, Tron Evolution, Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands.

I haven't played Batman AA yet, but it's nice they're working on a sequel.  And this may be an unpopular opinion, but I am very excited for Force Unleashed 2.  I thoroughly enjoyed the first.  As long as they don't screw it up.  ;)

I bet they jusy eyeball it.  There are pluggins for 3DSMax that you can generate 3D "picure data" which you can overlay on 2D film and get the effect.  This works best for Anaglyph, but I guess you could probably do something for full 2 eye 3D...

Take a loot around. Very few of us have "serious" avatars. bkev is a picture of himself with a Megaman helmet, I am an Imagination Land Cylon, Ferris is Lord Helmet, Xhonzi's is Darth Vader being crowned by the Emperor, and ImperialFighter is a tiny stormtrooper with a huge head, Anchorhead's is a picture of a whiny farm boy. And here I have only mentioned a few of the more serious ones...

Anyway, rest assured, your avatar will have no bearing on the perception of your posts content.

I am really attached to the idea of CO coming back and seeing the cow with the dolphin as his avatar.  If we don't do the rest, I think we need to do that one.

I asked this in the 3D thread in the off-topic forum: Does anyone know what method was used to create the 3D Jabba scene on Ady's SW:Revisited Disc?  I watched that the other day and thought it was pretty decent 3D.  The red/blue glasses sucked... but the 3D effect seemed good enough.

I think it's more akin to taking a mono soundtrack and reinterpretting it into 5.1 or 7.2 surround.  No, it's not original.  No, it's not the way it was designed to be.  No, it's not as good as something that was specifically filmed or recorded to be in 3D... but that doesn't mean you can't at least offer it as an option.

I like Mp3Tag for mass editing.  Especially for Audiobooks.

So, I've been hoarding BabyHum DVDs on my harddrive, and I recently got JD's Building Empire and Returning to Jedi.  I have maybe 3 other random SW related DVD's that I've burned, and then I have the 2004 DVD's, TR47's 1997 SE DVDs and one of the other "Faces" DVD jobs.  And, of course, Star Wars Revisited.

So... my question is really this.  Now that I have 20 or so Star Wars DVDs... How do I put them on the shelf?  I was thinking a CD wallet with Jewel Case Sized Coverart might be the way to go.  I have some of those super thin cases too, but even 20 of those side by side are pretty thick.

So... what do I do?  A 20 disc Amaray?  A six disc Amaray per movie might work...

Idunknow.  I saw it and knew someone had to have it.  It makes me giggle.  And I think the point was to give them such offensive avatars that they would chose their own immediately upon seeing it.

Luke would have lost how?  It was clearly not the Emperor's first choice to kill Young Skywalker.  He wanted to turn him.  How does that scene go without Vader, and what is the result?

Alright, kiddies... put on your Infinities hats (mine has a beanie!) and let's use our imaginations for a spell! We all know how Luke's face-off against Vader and Palpatine went down. He surrendered himself and focused all of his attention on his father- showing no fear and an outpouring of compassion for him.  Vader was torn between warring emotions... and while he tried to remain firmly rooted in the Dark Side and its associated subservience to the Emperor... once the Emperor's attention focused on his only son, a son who had just stood on the brink of the Dark Side and had safely stepped away... he saved his son and threw his master to his death.

Our infinities scenario picks up similarly.  Luke surrenders himself to an Imperial patrol.  But, to his disappointment, Vader is no where to be found.  Instead, he faces the Emperor alone.  What happens next?

Does anyone know where the 3D Jabba scene that's on Adywan's Revisited DVD came from?  Did he do it?  Do we know how it was done.  I watched in on the big screen again recently and was really impressed.  I wonder what the screen time:3D conversion time ratio is like.
