Should I make a Thread asking Peoples if I should make a thread about things being IN SPAAAAAAAAAACE!
Time

So, I have an idea for a thead, but I'm not sure if it's a good one.  I'm not sure if I should make it, so I thought maybe I would make a thread asking if people wanted it.  But I don't know even if THAT is a good idea either...

So, should I go ahead and make a thread about whether I should make the IN SPAAAAAAAAAACE thread?

Please let me know.  You might want to make your own thread about it though, because this one is mine.

A Thread for the Suggestion of New Threads
Time

So here's my idea for a thead. In this thread, you can put things IN SPAAAAAAAAAACE. Or you can discuss things that are already IN SPAAAAAAAAAACE. Or maybe fantasize about things that are not IN SPAAAAAAAAAACE, but you pretend that they are IN SPAAAAAAAAAACE.

I already mentioned this in the other Thread Thread.

But I'm not too sure.  Maybe I'll make a Thread asking if people want me to make that thread.

Wait, is that a good idea?  Maybe I'll just make a thread asking if people want me to do that.

EDIT: Here is the thread: http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/Should-I-make-a-Thread-asking-Peoples-if-I-should-make-a-thread-about-things-being-IN-SPAAAAAAAAAACE/topic/12150/

Last movie seen
Time

2012 in D-Box.

I might have posted about this movie when we watched it a couple of months ago... but here's a recap.   I thought it was nonsense.  And not fun enough to make the nonsense worth it.

But I've heard that it's a great movie to demo my d-box chair, so when I saw it at the library I decided to give it a second spin.

The thing I've noticed about the chair is that it often makes this stupid grin set in on my face.  That's how I know it's working.  The long of the short of it is, I rewatched the limo drives away from destruction scene, the plane flies away from destruction scene (1 of 7) and the trailer drives away from destruction until it catches up to the plane which flies away from it too. (2 of 7) and the big plane flies A.F.D. (3 of 7).  And all three of those scenes were pretty spectacular.  I had my wife come watch the same scenes and I sat in one of those old fashioned "stationary" chairs.  I could tell that it went back to the same crapfest it has always been.

So... give it a shot if you can.

Article on prequel films. Note: Does not pertain to Godfather II, which isn't a prequel - it's a sequel with extended flashback sequences - or a partial prequel to some.

His response video. I can only imagine how nervous he was... I remember practically freezing up when I got the chance to ask Eva Marie-Saint a question when she was the panelist at a screening of North by Northwest I attended - and I was never even clearly diagnosed with any level of the autism spectrum (in fact, I frequently joke I'm so messed up they can't give me a label). Even if it's just a stupid video game convention, getting up in front of those ridiculous amounts of people is nerve-wrecking, even if you know exactly what you're planning on doing.

I just listened to a NbNW panel with Mz. Saint.  Was it the Creative Screenwriting Podcast, by any chance?

Big Fish. Bigger Fish, Biggest Fish

*snort*

Where do the sand people fit into this discussion?  Are they monsters?

There seem to be 3 or 4 classifications:

Human or might as well be human Character:
Luke
Ackbar
Greedo
Twi'leks
Yoda

Alien, but still pretty human (maybe humans with learning disorders, or too much TV during development years)
Chewie
Ewoks
Sandpeople
Gamorreans

Alien, but are just Animals-
Tauntauns
Womprat
Banthas
Mynocks

And then the monsters.
Sarlaac
Rancor
etc..

But then you have Jabba.  What group is he in?  There are some others that blur the lines.

War of Kings (do comic books count?)

I really liked it.  Not as good as the "events" that preceded it, but good all of the same.  Nova seems to be a victim of his own success recently and is too busy having zany adventures in his own book to particpate in galactic wars.  It's too bad- during Annihilation, Nova was the bomb.*  It's also too bad since it looks like he'll be doing the same thing during Realm of Kings.

Dude, have you ever wondered if you're, like, a butterfly just imagining you're a man?  And that it's corporations that are, like, inventing words, and trying to control your life?  I think about that, and sometimes it makes me cry.
