Favorite episode of Droids or Ewoks?
Favorite episode of Droids or Ewoks?
Sure the Vader scene was cool, the pilots were nice, and it tied in nicely to the original Star Wars at the end; but other than that it just isn’t a very good movie in my not so humble opinion.
For Star Wars, I would keep the removal of the cardboard cutouts in the throne room scene, and if I have to pick something more significant, I’d say the Biggs scene because it falls more under the “directors cut scene” category (instead of unecessary bad CGI).
For Empire, I would keep the added samoa scenes because at least they used a costumed person instead of CGI like most of the additions and alterations.
Then for Jedi I would keep the cleanup of the rancor scene, but if that doesn’t count, then I’ll say the blinking ewoks.(it’s hardly noticeable)
(I really don’t like any of the changes that much if you couldn’t tell. Yub Nub rules.)
My answer would probably be the 1983 Return of the Jedi novel by James Kahn. I like how much it talks about the backstory of Anakin and Ben. To be honest, I love anything that talks about the events of the prequels before the prequels existed.
I try to watch them at least once each year, definitely watching parts from time to time, it’s always something special to watch the full movies at once.
Probably the “Star Wars Storybook” from '78, although my dad has a bunch of the trading cards.
