Perhaps he means as a bonus feature, the way that a proper release of the OT would have.

You mean that Gamorrean Guard?
Actually, if Chewie had to die in the books, then being crushed by a planet was a pretty good way to die.
Not saying that being tortured in a burning effigy isn't a fitting warrior's death though.
Anyway, I'd just ignore the EU.
It goes on a little long and I'm not entirely sure the plot is...but it's thoroughly enjoyable anyway.
Do we have a hi-res of the Hildebrandt? If not, we do now

Well, now we know where Frink lives!

In an ideal world you would have one fun fighting game with lightsabers and stuff and another silly game with lots more dancing (which presumably nobody would buy).
Already being discussed here:http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/topic.cfm/YouTube-Vimeo-etc-Star-Wars-finds/post/572865/#TopicPost572865
Thread is duplicate.
I'm surprised at how little that offends me. It's silly, but it's probably fun if you like that sort of game. And Star Wars has never been particularly serious (other than ESB, obviously). I mean, this happened: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gcku7Z-J3Rg
Someone start investigating George Lucas's ties to the Hard Drive industry.
Visually, I really like that bit when the Falcon's in the DSII with the stripey lights. I think you know what I mean.
You can try, Bingo, but I'm pretty sure Anchorhead will always win.

I don't think I'd ever given the ROTS soundtrack a listenthrough until now. I'm listening to the extended edition someone on the internet put together, which is all well and good (beyond the odd stray sound effect they couldn't remove)...
Wait, the soundtrack to ROTS has sound effects from the movie during the music? Why? How does that even happen?
Only because it's a fan-made extended edition. The one-disc official release is obviously lacking a lot of the music, so someone did their best to get as much of the rest of the music out of the movie as they could. Sometimes effects just can't be helped. The odd spaceship engine and such.
The argument for:
The score for Star Wars, having been composed before any of the other films, lacks many of the themes found in the other films, themes which, had the films been created as a whole, would certainly appear. As one of the goals of Revisited is to make the 6-Film-Saga work well together, it is only natural that the score should be adjusted properly. The most notable "missing theme" is the Imperial March/Darth Vader's Theme, given the heavy Imperial presence in this film, but Battle of the Heroes is particularly fitting for the final meeting of Obi-Wan and his former pupil.
Viewers of the Revisited Saga may be surprised to hear these themes in A New Hope, as 1977's Star Wars is a beloved film to which they may have memorized every note, line of dialogue, and image. The changes may even be offputting at first, resulting in a poor reaction. However, if the goal of Revisited is to make a 6-film saga, then their insertions are appropriate and even necessary.

I surmised a lot of this from the trailer as well. As you said, it is probably not 100% accuate, but I think it gets a lot right. I agree with you in that it is probably a different planet and the alien ship is not the same vessel as in Alien - which had been on LV-426 an incredibly long time (the space jockey was fossilized). Unless some horrible time travel element is in the plot...
I wouldn't be so sure about that last bit. It's been stated, I believe by Scott himself, that "The Space Jockey" in Alien is just a space suit, not an actual fossilized body.
Prometheus Plot, based on trailers
I doubt this is totally accurate, and I'm still not 100% convinced this is even the same planet as Alien
but it's pretty good anyway.
After reading Kim Stanley Robinson's trilogy of "Red Mars", "Green Mars" and "Blue Mars", I was pretty convinced this would work just fine.
So, can we get rid of the edit button?
Ironically, if not for the the connection to Alien, a connection the writers seem to want to downplay a bit, y'all might be more willing to see this as just a really good sci-fi movie
assuming it's really good, of course.
I am so glad to see Blade Runner explained. I haven't seen any version, and the confusion was not helping. Looks like I need to see the special version of Aliens... and I guess I know how to approach Alien3 now.
Still no idea what to do with A:R, and I haven't seen it.
Yeah, I've had the same experience as Frink. Everything works great.

With the greatness that was and is A New Hope Revisited, were there ever any final figures reported in regards to what the cost was for Adywan to complete that project? Any idea what ESB:R is costing him? If this was answered somewhere before, my apologies. Just curious.
I'm probably going to donate again, but I have to admit that I'd love to see a budget of where the money goes. I trust Ady, but I am curious.
I agree with that idea, although the idea that Dorme or whoever did some kind of suicide is slightly creepy.

Oh yeah, I thought that was weird too. It's not in the credits of the actual movie, only the cd. The other 5 soundtracks don't have anything like that. (Maybe Lucas was stockpiling music for the re-revamped ending of JEDI 2017 edition.) I guess it was probably just a little extra flourish/sign-off by Williams since it was the last movie.
Wait, what are the actual film's credits?
The "Return of the Sith Orchestral Suite" included in this particular seems much more in keeping with how Star Wars end credits work.
