Yeah, but the End Credits always have themes from the movie.
Yeah, but the End Credits always have themes from the movie.
I don't think I'd ever given the ROTS soundtrack a listenthrough until now. I'm listening to the extended edition someone on the internet put together, which is all well and good (beyond the odd stray sound effect they couldn't remove)...
But does anyone know why the End Credits feature "The Throne Room"? It makes no sense.
Was Ani even conscious and functional at that point? Would Palpy have wanted to reveal his new minion yet?
BREAKING NEWS
Musftafar
The traitorous Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, recently removed from command when the Jedi plot to overthrow the government was revealed, has murdered General Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padme Amidala of Naboo while escaping arrest. A period of mourning has been declared on Naboo, and Emperor Palpatine, himself a native of Naboo, has issued a statement expressing his sorrow at losing two of his closest friends. The killer's whereabouts are still unknown, but he will be brought to justice.
So yeah, probably because he was officially dead.
Better that than illiteral.
You could listen to the mono compared to each of the tracks compared to the mono individually, write down differences and then work out which were covered by the other tracks, but this might be slow, tedious and inaccurate.

Am I the only one who finds this incredibly depressing? Oh, how I long for a good old fashioned sci-fi movie that makes use of models, practical effects, matt paintings, stop-mo animation, puppetry, etc, instead of soleless CGI.....
It isn't entirely true, though. There were a lot of models in the PT, most people just don't know it.
The fact is that most people don't care about perfect continuity.
Anyone willing to fill me in on why this thread exists?
Well it's not like he's dodging bans.

No, just deletion of one letter. It's bad, but not 100% bizarre.

I forget: Does "Han" very in pronunciation onscreen, or only off?
It does vary onscreen. In ESB, Lando tends to pronounce it like "hand" without the D, rather than "hawn." Then 3p0 picks up the variant pronunciation when Lando is being strangled.
Ah, that's exactly what I was thinking of! Good ol' Lando...

Gungans ("Goongas")
This one gets me every time. Goongas sounds nothing like Gungans.
In all fairness, if you drop the second n and pronounce the u with a long u sound, you get "Goongas". Given that he pronounces Naboo with a long a and Hoth with a long o, it's actually pretty consistent.
I forget: Does "Han" very in pronunciation onscreen, or only off?

I just want to point out that Hoth has a long o, according to George

Ah, good point.
The fact stands, like you said, that the 2006 bonus DVDs have awful color too.
TheObi said:
(meaning not too much color correction, etc.)
The color correction is actually a good thing, generally. The 2004 DVDs are awful in terms of color.
I believe the facts are as follows:
1. the GOUT colors are really unsaturated, so what you're seeing on an untouched GOUT is a lot paler than what it was in theatres
2. the sabres in ESB and ROTJ-trailer were indeed darker than in the original Star Wars.
-1,
The difference in height of the lowercase t is a pretty dead give-away that although they're very similar fonts, they're not the same. The hoop on the lowercase d looks pretty different too.
Has eliminating young Boba and making Jango = Boba been discussed?

Anakin could leave the order by AOTC, say hey I'm married, and maybe not even be on Geonosis at all (if he never goes to Geonosis, he never goes to Tattooine, and therefore, everything happens on Naboo reducing the amount of planets in EPII)
What if he and Padme don't leave Tattooine? What if they don't receive Obi-Wan's message?
20 - Re-edited the Wampa cave scene to closer match the original theatrical version, eliminating all SE additions (apart from one shot)
This doesn't sound like Ady actually filmed new Wampa footage?
I think that some people on this forum would love to hear them.
