I wish it were true.

much more enhanced than even the original
I'm not sure you know what "more enhanced" means.

Here's what I said: "Oh nice, they put the ending of the movie right on the trailer. Thanks, guys."timdiggerm said:
And finally, the last part of the trailer: WHY WOULD YOU PUT THAT IN THE TRAILER???
Butterfield's been talking on reddit, and he (as well as others) made the point that if you haven't read the book, you won't understand why that scene's significant (so it's okay), and if you have, you'll like seeing it (which I did, spoiler concerns notwithstanding). So, okay.
The important question, in my mind: How long is the movie after that scene?

Well! Thoughts:
They may have compressed the First & Second Invasions into one event. That seems fine, for the sake of simplifying. That being said, the Invasion scenes, Jets vs Buggers, look great.
The trailer does a good job of getting the point across, particularly through Ford's narration. No real telling if this will be a decent performance from him though.
Looks like we might see the surface of the Command School Asteroid?
Valentine & Ender on the lake. Excellent.
And finally, the last part of the trailer: WHY WOULD YOU PUT THAT IN THE TRAILER???
Next time, include the link.

Well those wings are waaaaaay too small

There are two possibilities to this: (1) The two pilots were part of Black Squadron and they were waiting for orders, or (2) they were in fact just random pilots not part of Black Squadron.
lol part of what? Pretty sure I never heard a "Black Squadron" mentioned in any of the films...
X-Wing...Alliance? Regular type? Those were pretty great.

People/bands/films/franchises run out of ideas without fresh blood sometimes. Doesn't mean what we initially loved about them is any less frickin' awesome!!!
I would indicate that the whole is not very good, despite the few excellent bits inside it.
It would also indicate that further films very well may be bad.

So they showed JEDI in hollywood last night and lucasfilm provided a 35mm print of the 97 special edition. 3 years ago Empire was a digital presentation of the DVD version. Progress? (Also, apparently the crowd cheered the ghost Sebastian Shaw)
That is indeed good news.
About half of those in that list fall into "Did you know that people had different standards and morals in the past?! OMG!"

The channels work like this: Audio channels 1 and 2 are dialogue, channels 3 and 4 are sound effects, and channels 5 and 6 are the music score.
Pretty sure it does not "work" like this...
Well, it's something like close to that. I know the back channels are reserved for music. I don't really mess around with any of the other channels that much.
What....what source are you using? If we're talking about a 5.1 sound mix for a film, your 5 channels are front left, center, front right, rear left and rear right (in some order), plus a 6th channel for the subwoofer ("LFE" or something?) Sound effects, dialogue and music are going to be mixed across all of them, although most dialogue will fall in the front, I think.
Exception: I've heard Clone Wars just keeps dialogue in the center channel.

Just learned that the trailer comes out next week. Short preview of it above.
Battleschool....has one spherical battleroom?
But Mazer sure is Maori.

Is Lucas writing? I thought he was leaving it all to others and just working as a consultant...
You were correct; some people don't know the facts.

That means George Lucas has the same intelligence level as Palpatine. This was just a left-handed explanation of the PT.
False. Writing the actions of a fictional character in a fictional world is not the same as being able to achieve those same goals were you in that position.
Or perhaps they were all blinded and manipulated by a cunning individual with magical powers.
I think he is mistakenly talking about the ricin case

Are we sure this isn't adywan's house? ;)
Judging by the AT-ATs, yes, pretty sure.
There was a pretty brilliant mockup once in which the ESB deleted footage was used to show Luke putting his ROTJ saber together on Dagobah in mid-air.
I think 144p is an emergency measure on youtube's part, so they have a resolution to fallback on when even 240 is a problem. I dunno about you, but I've been having a lot of trouble with them lately.

I hope these rumors are false, if true just how badly will JJ ruin star wars VII.
They're either true or there's a massive conspiracy of people lying about what they've seen and no one from the actual premiere (or other screenings) contradicting them.

One thread move and merge, please.
Seconded
I would definitely like to hear more about it from you at a later time.
I'd say that the "gift" of the droids preceding Leia & Chewie's arrival contradicts that pretty well.
Booooooo
I want to have time to fill it in.
