There's a hilarious alternate reading of the "Fly, yes; land, no!" line on the little-known Story of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade tie-in audio CD. (Skip to the end to hear it.)
Oh my gosh, that is amazing. I can't even figure out how to punctuate quoting it.
That's an interesting idea, but ... let me know when someone pulls it off.

Oh, it uses computers. Analog computers.
Somewhere, a little optical compositing machine is whirring away, quickly overlaying avatars onto posts

The content I take no responsibility for. Blame the internet!
The formatting though, is down to the way this board is set up. Why can't we see the actual BBcode? Do you have any input on that?
BBcode? Who said this board uses BBcode?

What do I like about the prequals?
Well, not too damn much.
From the first post:
And don't bother replying with things like "No, there is not." or "The Prequels are terrible."

I love how the article describes the movie as: "The story is set 'a long, long time ago in a galaxy not too far from here' where Grand Moff Tarkin (Peter Cushing) rules the Galactic Empire from his Death Star, an enormous artificial planet managed by Imperial Storm Troopers. ..."
I think he needed to watch the movie again! :-)
Other than small expository dialogue mentioning the Emperor, he didn't miss much
Is that 2016 then?

So.... just out of curiosity, does anyone else suspect that Kylo Ren is going to be basically a film version of Darth Caedus?
Who?
You know, that guy whom Jacen Solo became in a parallel universe.
Who?
WRONG WHO RESPONDED TO!
Hey man, I tried. But when you search for Jacen Solo, they redirect to Darth Caedus.

If we can't agree on the color of a damn dress, how are we going to agree on the colors in Star Wars?
Does it have a collar?
Okay that would be awesome, even if it's not feasible
Are you saying the Rebels' new goal is to blow up a planet more populated than Alderaan??
That brings about a host of new questions

A planet with dinosaurs is not a planet of dinosaurs. Get with the distinction, people!
Are you saying Charlton Heston visited a planet made entirely of simians?!
Please, let's not forget Fett's debut

There was a black Spiderman? For me the only Spidy will always be the nerdy Peter Parker. Not sure why but I always liked these superheroes who were basically weird nerdy guys in real life :-)

From the Ultimate universe
Really not sure about the Mustafar shot. The planet appears to have an ice cap?

Yet again, it is hard to figure out if you are trying to be silly or if things are going over your head.
He's telling you that this thread asks for a favorite line, not a collection of several lines
Words can still rhyme with different numbers of syllables, they just won't be a "perfect rhyme"

...They only went the CGI route because the original negatives for the special effects shots were lost so those could not be restored and broadcast in HD like the rest of the content...
Explain the original shots being used in the blu-ray's then...
They don't have the separate effects elements, only the final composite. They can scan the composites in HD and show them to you (as you note: they do), but they can't scan the original elements to recomposite for a remastered look.

Ok, I'll play along.
What does he say in your version?
"If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine"
I'm sorry that you can't understand that "can" and "could" are conjugations of the same word, that people's imperfect memories sometimes get things slightly wrong, and that being intentionally obtuse is obnoxious.

Can anybody point me to an exact time reference, when that line is spoken?
In the link I posted, it's just after the 52 second mark.
