I've never dealt with them and I don't see any reviews but the website doesn't look dodgy. I would buy with confidence. They even have some Super8, for extortionate prices of course.

Shipping to Italy is 10.90 so it's a regular Poste Italiane packet, insurance is extra. However I have no idea how much would be the postage to Sweden. I read on their website that it should be requested in advance the shipping quote for foreign countries. I just sent them an email asking a quote for Sweden.

If it was at least a privately owned copy I would have bought it and sent to you but the "ex-rental" scares me. At least the Tele+ broadcast doesn't have any of the typical VHS problems.
Yes, that's the same film we've got... only I couldn't get hold of one. I already saw that website but paying 12 euro + postage for a tape is outrageous especially for an ex-rental that might be well-used/ruined.

I've been trying to make a trailer, I'm very good at that but the conversion from DVD back to video file is really off-putting, I forgot it took so long! Msycamore you don't have by chance the final version of the italian film on avi file? I would use my source file but I really wanted to show the DVD quality. If you don't have it don't worry, I'll see if I can be bothered converting it back to avi.

It's time we make a trailer of our own aswell, perhaps when the English version is complete. However I can already start with an Italian trailer. (speaking of which, you've got a PM msycamore)

Not knowing exactly how subtitling a DVD works I'll rest the case. However if you do put English subtitles I can just translate those into Italian directly (therefore no need of synchronizing them again)
So, no sepia colour on Buck Rogers uh? Nice colours on the betamax, I wish VHS never won that format war (same with blue-ray)
It just came in my mind that perhaps I should take care of subtitles in Italian for the English DVD. Italians have never seen the "restored version" and I suppose many could be curious to watch it.
Luckly the new CGI version has dialogues closely translated so I can base my work on that.

I remember creating DVD menues years ago but it's so long time ago I can't recall what software I used. Let me know what software you use for the menues
What program are you using to create these DVDs?
I was also thinking that a picture of THX on all video formats would be a nice add to the trivia where we talk about its releases. Images shouldn't take much space. Let's hear what Msycamore say
Although Lucas didn't retouch THX until 1978. So, yeah he might have started liking the green letters since 1973. The Italian version probably takes its colour from the theatrical release.
