Help: Matrix Trilogy - TV reports & specials wanted
Time

Hi. Since I just joined this cool forum and seeing how some of you managed to put together an impressive preservation projects, I wanted to give it a try myself. In addition to the obvious classics like Star Wars, I’m also a “making of” collector of Matrix trilogy. I’ve been able to compile full 3 DVDs of footage (over 6hrs) not featured on official releases, inc. Ultimatte 10-DVD set. I’ve got quite a few interesting UK, US & Japan TV specials, but the most precious footage in my collection is stuff from so-called Electronic Press Kits - EPKs, that usually feature unedited b-roll and interviews. I’m looking for TV reports from shows like “Entertainment tonight” and “Access Hollywood”, MTV special “MTV Movie House”, footage from worldwide premieres, Japan press conferences, etc. If anyone can help me out with this, that’d be awesome (I’m open for trade or purchase). Here’s what I have so far:

BLADE RUNNER: The Unauthorized OFF-WORLD Box Set (Released)
Time
Hi!

I just joined this forum and would like to say big THANK YOU to all of you who are preserving movies and related "making of "materials. I've been a die hard "making of" collector for a while now and most precious footage in my collection is press footage featured on so-called Electronic Press Kits - EPKs that usually feature unedited b-roll and interviews (sadly, only for newer films, but sourced directly from broadcast quality betacam SP masters). My collection consists mostly of SF films like Star Wars saga, Star Trek saga, Blade Runner, 2001, Alien saga, Back to the future trilogy and newer stuff like Batman Begins, The Island, Matrix trilogy, Constantine, Lord of the Rings trilogy...). If anyone is interested in full list, let me know. Anyhow, it's good to know there is more people sharing my passion! May the force be with us...

Regarding Blade runner I have a few clipsthat might be interesting for inclusion on "The Unauthorized OFF-WORLD Box Set":
- TRAILER (3:23) This is the only segment that accompanied movie clips on EPK for BR-DC, 2nd generation off Betacam SP master
- NO GUTS, NO GLORY: 75 YEARS OF BLOCKBUSTERS (1:27) A segment from newer Warner Bros documentary, features interviews with Joel Silver & Edward james Olmos
- MTV: DESIGNING BLADE RUNNER (1:54) Bad quality 90s TV report from MTV at the movies, has exclusive interview with Syd Mead
- 15MB CD-Rom from Japanese Dokuhon BR book (only 300 books came with this lim. ed. CD rom). It has all sorts of rare photos of BR vehicles/designs

Personally, I'd love to see original EPK and all those TV interviews done during promotion of the film's theatrical release. That'd be the most valuable BR material to preserve since it probably won't ever be released on any official releases. These are the ones I know of that haven't been mentioned on the forum:

-Harrison Ford on Live at 5 New York - summer 1982
-Harrison Ford on local news program - summer 1982
-Harrison Ford on local news program "In Person" - summer 1982
-Harrison Ford on Today Show - 1982
-Harrison Ford on CNN News -1982

Regarding Indiana Jones I have a few clips of very good quality that might be interesting enough for inclusion on the next Indy DVD:
INDIANA JONES: EPIC STUNT SPECTACULAR (1:47) From Disneyworld EPK
MOVIE MISTAKES: INDIANA JONES TRILOGY (2:40) Recent TV report from Croatian TV, with Croatian narration
1985 ACADEMY AWARDS (3:30) Unknown source, features short intro and segment of awarded SFX crew of TOD
