Phobias That wreck your enjoyment of Films, Television and Video Games.

Well.... I guess it isn't a phobia as much as an extreme distaste, but whenever the protagonist of a film gets wrongfully blamed for something he didn't do - and you have to watch the repercussions play out - I get incredibly uncomfortable.  If it's some sort of exposition that happened before the film takes place, however, I'm okay with it.

What do you think of 'Shawshank Redemption' then?

Hmm, perhaps but the bluray has overall better quality even with the tint, seems like it would be more productive to just remove the tint.  And like I said, once Emansfans version with complete color correction and film grain and some of the cg manipulated to look more like models (if you aren't following his thread, you should be) it will be the version I make a V2 with.

It would be great if you removed the tint.  I think for me it really is bothersome because I was so used to the pre-BD color timing.

I agree it's dcp - wowow - canal+ - HD Net -DVD - LD - VHS - being poked in the eyes - BD in that order

Okay, so at the moment we have available in HD(not including BD):

Part I - DCP, WOWOW, and HDNet

Part II - Canal+ and HDNet

Part III - HDNet

It's not looking good for Part III.  Does anyone know if the WOWOW or Canal+ is available for it?  (PM me if you happen to have a copy of one of these)

Yeah poita, the second one is the BD.

What we have is not the fully uncompressed DCP file but a  ~40mbps x264 compressed file which is still impressive compared to the BD.

How does it compare to the WOWWOW version?  I have the WOWOW and it's superior to the BD of course.  I just want to know if it's worth the trouble getting the DCP too.

So anyways.  The phantom edit I won't be doing.  But attack of the phantom I will recreate the "cut" of the edit, synced to the AOTP original audio track from a blu ray source.  It will NOT include the phantom edit crawl, the crawl will be the original crawl.  Visual tweaks/fx shots he pulled will not be recreated, simply because I lack the skill.

I really look forward to this. That cut, more than any other, turned a movie I loathed the first time I saw it into something I can kinda enjoy.

It's also going to be interesting seeing it in HD after the horrible sub-DVD picture quality that the original edit had.  But yeah, for a while there I thought it was one of the best fanedits I had ever seen.

Not sure if this is against the rules, but every time I have attempted to download star wars from myspleen i can never find any seeders. I was wondering if I could pay someone to burn a copy of Star Wars, Empire and Jedi. All I would be paying is the cost of blu-ray disc(s) and shipping. I own copies of the OT on blu-ray, but I want to see them again in their true form. I would truly appreciate it if someone would like to help me out.

There are 119 seeders at the moment.  You should have absolutely no problem downloading it.  I highly recommend 'Utorrent' as the program to download it with.  The only possible problematic thing I can think of would be if you messed with the Preferences royally.
