How old are we talking? Can you get files 7 years old?
Is that how old Nemesis is? I'm not sure, I just know from experience I was able to download files from alt.binaries.starwars (using forte agent) that were too old for nzb search engines.

Uncropmkv? Are you loading the same mkv every time? There could be something wrong with just that mkv. Out of the TONS of mkv's I've opened in uncropmkv only a few haven't worked. I just assumed something was wrong those files. If that isn't it maybe you should update FFdshow and Haali Media Splitter. Oh, and make sure avisynth 2.58 is installed.

Oh, sorry I didn't make that very clear. Uncropmkv will slow down the video just fine. The audio that came with it will sync perfectly and I assume your DVD audio will also.
I've used both Ripbot and Uncropmkv many times and in this case I would definitely use uncropmkv. One pass is enough and it will be done faster than ripbot. Setting it up is much simpler than ripbot also.Thanks Stretch for explaining. I have downloaded Uncropmkv and will be playing around with it tomorrow. I have a 720p of "Swiss Family Robinson" at 25fps that I would like to slow to 23.976fps. I will report back my impressions.
I used Uncropmkv to slow down "One Hour Photo" from 25fps to 23.976fps and it worked like a charm. The main reason I use uncropmkv though is to make mkvs 100% AVCHD/BD compliant. (Especially if it isn't exactly 1280x720 or 1920x1080) Great little piece of software IMO.
