Seems like it's been forever since there has been any movement on this project. Is it still going forward? Any chance the other two films will be released in time for TFA?
Beautiful work, Team-Blu! Hard to imagine that ANH77 started life from the GOUT. And ANH-SE looks fantastic as well.

Had the chance to watch the first half of Star Wars last night. This is the way I remember the films. Colors appeared accurate to my memory, anamorphic widescreen (no more crappy letterbox GOUT for me), and the sound... amazing! I don't have the world's best setup, just a 26" LCD and a 5.0 setup using speakers from Goodwill, but it looked and sounded incredible. Hard to believe the crappy GOUT was the original source for this.
Is it perfect? No. But until Georgy Boy gets off his fat ass and gives us fans what we want it's as close as we'll get.
Dark_Jedi, I think it's safe for you to say "Mission Accomplished". You wanted an incredible companion set for next month's official release, and you have provided it!
Can't wait to watch the second half of Star Wars, and move on to Empire later this evening!

Between being on vacation last week and fighting a nasty cold this week I haven't had time to check in much, but I am definitely interested in the Blu release if/when it happens. The samples look amazing!

I wonder... is it possible that the Original Trilogy set will have the OOT, the Prequel Trilogy set will have the theatrical PT, and the Saga set will have George's New Vision version?
