I know I said goodbye to these forums in the official DVD thread, but I can't let the X0 project die. As some other posters have said, GL could possibly F-up the official releases and then what? I'll hopefully be starting a good job soon so I'll pitch in what I can.

Of course I'd love to be proven wrong and have the offical DVDs be the only ones i'll ever watch, but it still would be nice to have the X0 as a comparison

I am in awe of the amount of detail, how meticulous you guys are with the work.

Like everyone else, I want to see the DVD asap, but would rather have you guys do it right than do it hastilly. Looks like you're on the right path. Keep up the phenomenal work, and rock on!

I haven't seen all the transfers, especially some of the newer ones.

My favorite has to be the OCP Classic Edition discs, without a doubt.

However if you're looking for just a straight LD rip, I love the DarkJedi DefCol.

Also the DarkJedi Pan&Scan set looks exactly like my old VHS tapes which is very cool to relive.

I received my Classic Edition Trilogy set yesterday, gave it a quick scan to watch the former SE scenes and all I can say is you did an absolutely AMAZING job with these discs. I can't wait to sit down and watch these discs properly later this week and this weekend. Well done man, well done.

Basically they have the classic poster on the front, classic logo on the spines along with a character icon in the lower 3rd (I believe it's Vader for ANH, Yoda for ESB and Wicket for RotJ) plus the usual write-up on the back

I have the tapes but they're in storage so hopefully that's enough to go on. Surely someone has the hologram set that can provide better images for ya.

Could someone help me out? I'd like a set of covers that are identical to the 1990 VHS editions, complete with the CBS/FOX logo on the spine, character icons near the bottom of the spine, and original text on the back. If you could make them match the 4-tape Widescreen hologram box cases that would be perfect! Thanks in advance!!

once these are up on myspleen and I download them, I can seed until the 18th when I go back to school... doin my part to show thanks to this awesome community any way I can. Don't have an LD player, my VHS copies are nearly worn out, but thanks to you guys I can enjoy the ORIGINAL trilogy forver.
