Disney's Beauty and the Beast [spoRv] BD-25 (Released)
Time

OK, as now this project is definitely "out of print" (^^,) it could be the time to upload it again somewhere... but, as it will take AT LEAST one week - due to my poor connection - is there anything I should change?

I mean, for the ones lucky (and patient) enough that grab this one before its OOP status, do you think I should correct/boost/dimish/add contrast, color grading, grain, saturation, anything else?

Waiting for your comment, thanks!!!

kk650's Star Wars Saga: Regraded and Semi-Specialized (Released)

As far as i'm concerned this V2.2 Star Wars release looks the best I can make it look and personally for me as a releaser thats always been the most important thing, that I am 100% happy with the release. If others agree with me that's great of course but if they don't it doesn't concern me a great deal, ultimately I make these releases and all my regraded releases for myself and nobody else.

Agree 100% (and more...)

I now have my own perfect version of Star Wars and until a 4k remastered Star Wars release gets announced, i'm going to be a very happy man lying back and enjoying the fruits of my labour and forgetting about the 4 years of work that went into creating this. :D

"only" 4 years? crazy guys these project makers... (^^,)

Series of articles about project sources
Time

I thought to write some articles about project sources; hope they will help some new project maker, or reveal some curiosity to the ones with most knowledge.

First steps: choose your sources

First steps: know your sources

First steps: acquire your sources

First steps: find your sources

First steps: rate your sources

Enjoy, and if you like them, give them some stars!

P.S. Each article is conceived to be standalone, so if you read'em all, you will note that there are some redundant info,but... "repetita iuvant"! (^^,)

Dear Jetrell,
I thought to sort the list of the first post in alphabetical order, to be more readable; plus, I replaced (Found)(Sorted) with (Sync'ed), because I think sync'ed (syncronized/syncronised) is more understandable than sorted, and removed found as it's obvious that if it's sync'ed, it's found! ;) hope this could be of some help!

Supernova (2000) [spoRv] *BD-25* RELEASED
Time

OK, I took just one screenshot from highdefdigest's review, the same frame from my project, and made a comparison:

http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/108239

Maybe BD color grading is better, but considering the source of [spoRv] is an highly compressed 720p HDTV, the latter is not that bad, plus BD has maybe too much grain - or it's due to JPG compression? - and dirt...

What do you think, folks?

Thanks for the link to the review; it seems video quality is not the best - I watched the small chuncks on youtube, and dust & dropouts seems to be still there, like in the DVD and HDTV, so the master used should be the same...

But the DTS-MA 5.1 track could be interested, plus I'm really curious to watch the new featurette... we'll see when it's out.

Maybe the latter will be useful, in the case I'll work on the extra disc!

kk650's Star Wars Saga: Regraded and Semi-Specialized (Released)

With this poor display, surely I will not be able to discern the difference between the two versions, but I'm sure whichever will be the one chosen, it will be a good one! And, the fact that will be called just V2.2 will avoid some confusion!

Sounds good for a 2015 project! Go ahead like this, and, by the way, Happy New Year, and I wish you will start a lot of new projects!!!
