[spoRv] projects - past and future
Time

Thanks SilverWook!

@jedimasterobiwan:

happy to see you noted these "mistakes"!

Ghostbusters 1 & 2: color grading difference between versions is quite noticeable, but... which is the "right" one? I must admit I prefer the 1999 DVD one, probably just because nostalgia...

Nightmare: agree, the BD has crushed black, and, even if color grading seems more natural, still prefer the DVD, don't know if for the same reason!

Spoiler: GB2 is almost ready, I need some time to finish current projects, so can't say when it will be released...

The Arrival [spoRv] BD-25 (Released)
Time

D_J you are completely right! But, as I have "only" three Playstations to test my projects, I do whatever I could... discovered that the old PS3 Fat is sometimes faulty - can't read certain retail BDs, or skip some parts, or can't read anymore BD-Rs when it plays faithfully them some months ago - I could rely just on the new PS3 Slim and PS4.

When they play right, I think the disc is well authoured, but maybe I'm wrong, because Playstations are well known to play almost everything... maybe is MultiAVCHD the guilty, because it seems EasyBD Lite "menuless" discs works better...

The last option, that SHOULD be investigated, is the fact that MultiAVCHD uses the old version of TSMuxer, that, accordingly to many, it could have some compatibily issues... now, I replaced that old version with the newest one - that is supposedly free of those problems; when I'll finish the next project, I'll author the BD-25 using this new version, and try to find some friends with a BD player to test the disc with as many players as I can.

Meanwhile, you can always download the project, and use just the main m2ts file, untouched, to make your own BD, or play it directly in your PC or hardware players.

Every other who burned the project in a BD-R; please, report your feedbacks here, thanks!

...if anyone would be interested in a fairly extensive (but still quite condensed) list of 'original mix versus remix' differences (and preferences for different versions of the same mix), I'd be happy to share my personal findings as well!

Take a minute to visit fanres.com - you will find some audio tracks, and you are welcome to share all your thoughts there!
