I don't know what is worse Nolan's take on Catwoman or Superman, both images released around the same time.  Both awful.

Inception was absolute garbage too if not for the somewhat cool teaser trailer i would be worried for Nolan's third batman film.

Not as worried as Superman or Spider-man, but its something to watch to see if its a nice third times the charm fail of most film series.

This is neither new news or surprising considering they are replacing it with the old republic, Lucasarts/bioware/EA i mean.

A vastly superior mmo if the old republic is everything they claim it to be.

We don't even know if Kurtz's alleged Jedi Treatment is even true and we won't until Rizner's book comes out.

He has already blasted some of the Kurtz hero worship out of the water with the empire book which proves Lucas had much more involvement than fans want to acknowledge.

Well you are essentially correct but the Skywalker portion is a correction from Starkiller in the shooting script.

Luke's father Annikin Starkiller was at that point a separate character from Darth Vader.

Someone will illegally scan portions of it or in whole and it will end up on image sites or online.

And unlike that George Lucas selects book it will be of some value.

Who wants to spend thousands on frames of the special edition and prequels to get his now worthless autograph he used to give away for free when he was a good filmaker.

I still maintain the process is meaningless if no one ever gets to see the so called preserved films in the library of congress.

Lucas also has them preserved at Skywalker Ranch under lock and key, but no one can see them in a cinema where they were supposed to be seen.

I will buy this the first day its on DVD as long as it has a better quality version of the hotwaffles video and maybe a CD,lol.

The music was redone for the second version by the same musician who did the rest of the series? cannot remember his name off the top of my head.

Did the original pilot have a complete and different score by another composer and not released on CD, or was it temp music?

Wow the silver collection on LD is crap quality at least in that cap.

Nice for Rinzler to document films that Lucas has made all but no longer in existence, unless you count the gout.

Nothing made me more angry than reading the making of star wars and empire and realizing the films themselves are not even being given the same deluxe treatment the books on them are.

and despite this the films these drawings are for might be forever lost to time thanks to a certain bearded man.

The anthology was finally released on blu ray without the longer TV cut of Superman.

I was surprised that according to a review they actually bothered to include the 35mm mix in 2.0 on the blu ray of the theatrical cut, i don't have a blu ray player and have no way of knowing if the 5.1 is another new mix or the 70mm mix which all have been waiting years to hear again.

Any news on the release status of this project would be welcome.

It is more difficult. A single act of a stage play can go on uninterrupted for more than an hour. This gives an actor a chance to lose himself or herself in a role. The Battle between Yoda and Palpatine in the senate was so Ridiculous as to be laugh out loud unintentionally funny.

The Theater was laughing so hard at that scene and the mustafar duel, the romance between padme and Anakin, actually everything was funny in that trainwreck of a movie including Anakin's outburst at not being made a master on the council.

Nobody i know blames Lucas and Spielberg for their good movies Pre Jurassic Park , except for  Biskind and he is a joke imho.

I was referring to the perception that the era of big budget blockbuster driven summer movies changed Hollywood for the worse. Jaws and Star Wars are the usual suspects blamed in that scenario.

You mean this view has been put out there as fact by the likes of Peter Biskind hack journalist.  His book Easy Riders, Raging Bulls is a waste of good trees.
