I really like what I've seen of this show. I don't get sci-fi anymore, but I saw the first season dvds. Since there's Brits and "the rest of us" on here, which version is better? The UK's, or the US version? I was lucky enough to see the UK edition of season 1, but is there much of a difference?

Wow. I don't know any of the ideas of Scientology, but it does sound very wacky. I can't believe people could get sucked into it. It must be for the truly dumb. Although, I have heard about the stuff Windexed is talking about. The celebrities make the religion look cool, so the celebrity gets an easy ride to the top, while all the regular people have to work really hard to move up the ladder. What a load of bull!

With all this bad weather lately there was a freak blizzard in Marin county. I wish that would happen here, in Berkeley. Only I'd stay in my house, and watch from the window, huddled in blankets.

ITA, WaragainsttheCouncil. I do post in other threads over there. It's just so annoying to be surrounded by people who come from such a completely different Star Wars experience most of the time. I just wonder how their parents never showed them the OT...it boggles my mind. Then there's a lot of older people over there too who like both trilogies, and part of me thinks they never connected with the movies in the first place. My dad was an adult when he saw the OT, and he doesn't like the PT. So I think it's just people that like shit movies or something. They just don't understand Star Wars, and maybe never will.

They should release all 6 movies in a box set around September in time for Christmas 06, and then it will lead into the 30th anniversary several months later in May 07. I bet you they'll do something like that.

The sad thing about tf.n and most other Star Wars sites is those people come in to a fandom that's 20 + years previously established and fling poo everywhere like they own the place. Absolutely no respect for what started the whole thing. Nothing of the sort ever happened to Star Trek. I can't even suffer the basher's sanctuary most of the time.

I found this site on a heart wrenching search to see if there ACTUALLY was a place in the entire internet for REAL Star Wars. Everywhere is pro-SE and prequel. There is literally NO PLACE I could find for Star Wars. People wanted to save the condors. Evidently peope just want Star Wars dead and gone.

I just fail to understand why The Incredibles gave you bad memories. It could give you bad memories of watching it...but nothing apart from that. Did bad things happen when you watched it previously? This whole thing seems like a waste of time.

The number 1 thing I can't stand is what the second gen mouskateers (sp.? - anyway MMC from the 90s) did to pop music. I used to enjoy pop music from time to time. Well, almost ANY pop music from the 90s sucked. BUT...Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, N*stink, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees...they all suck big time, and NOW we've been subjected to a few of them even on reality shows which would be number 2 on my list. And who are those other girls, oh yeah, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson. I'm sorry but Ashlee looks like a witch.

Well, I picked Dukes of Hazzard. It was my fav when I was little on reruns...but my real favorite is The X-Files. I first started watching that as a teenager, so I still considered myself to be "growing up" in a way, and I loooooovvvvvve that show. Always have.

On Power Rangers...one of my best friends used to watch the first incarnation of the show EVERY day after school. Was well addicted. So I saw it, but only mildly enjoyed the corniness. It was fun to watch after school tho. Boring horrible day at school, THEN waste part of your free afternoon watching Power Rangers!

Those are some excellent ESB posters, HS vs IJ. I think my favorite has nearly always been the 4th one in that line-up, or a slight variation I've seen around. I like most Empire ones, and most Star Wars are great too. Mikes-Atomic, I like the ESB one (of course!).
