it’s ok , he was just flame baiting , it can be hard not to want to react to that kind of behavior , and hey folks , lets not use this thread to mock each other either please. After Adywan’s post in here earlier today ,and this encounter , I would like to think we can all learn something and be cool .
SilverWook would you kindly wipe my account off your site? I don’t want any association here anymore. Politics have officially infultrated Star Wars and now the franchise is dead to me. They don’t want my white male nerd input and I don’t blame them.
If you’re going to throw a fit because you can’t take over a single thread, no problem. All you had to do was restrict your arguments to threads where the debate is open and welcome, or create your own.
I’ve locked your account to prevent further spamming of this thread.
Thank you Jay
and now I am kindly asking him to leave this thread . Thank you Silverwook .
I can’t see that statement as anything but inflammatory and conjecture as to what the fanbase is or is not made up of , see the OP and kindly stop , or exit the thread .
I wish I could have seen that. I was at that con, but only for a few hours.
wow ! I wish I could have been there . here is a link to a picture of them and a write up of the convention…https://www.quora.com/Did-Gene-Roddenberry-Star-Trek-and-George-Lucas-Star-Wars-ever-meet-Were-they-friends-Were-they-aware-of-each-other now that is RESPECT and being non toxic adults
that would be ideal. Sadly , I think he might be met with the same behavior . And at the 10th anniversary Star Wars convention , Gene Roddenberry attended and shook George’s hand and George told him of how he used to stop and watch Star Trek re runs everyday while writing the scripts for Star Wars .It was documented in Starlog magazine
lol
and I would also like to quote one Robert E. Howard, creator of Conan The Barbarian …" civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split , as a general thing ."
Adywan , I have experienced this kind of behavior as well , directed at myself both online and offline .It’s pathetic and online it seems to be a lot of people who come out of nowhere to be dicks . If those kids you encountered came at me like that , I would have told them to go eat a Tide pod !
Can’t we just put all the trolls on a rocket and launch it into the sun instead?
I look forward to the day twitter is as passé as myspace and livejournal. It happens to every platform eventually.
I second the motion
I see the flack coming from the far right as well , thank you for acknowledging both sides though
and here we go again …https://variety.com/2018/digital/global/ruby-rose-batwoman-quits-twitter-following-trolling-1202902971/ Anybody got a ticket off this planet ?
Ugh, why do they put politics in my space Nazi movie.
But seriously this looks cool. I wonder if there are Official guidelines for fanfilms to follow in order to stay legal. Calling something “A Star Wars Story” would likely run afowl of those rules.
lol , and regardless of running ducks ,I think it looks cool too . I am also glad to see it being made and think it is an important project . now THIS is standing up !
it can , however , as per my updated first post , this is not the place to debate the issue
and this speaks to the spirit of this thread as well…https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uqs4uFO4EI

love it !
yeah , I am hoping the Star Wars content they get around to streaming will have a blu ray release , personally , I think the streaming model is going to implode eventually , I mean , I already pay for cable , netflix and an internet connection and can’t afford any more . It seems like every big studio is starting up these streaming services now .
Agree about people being in the way. During rush hour it’s inevitable but there are the idiots constantly changing lanes and speeding up on top of people as if they are going to get to their destination much faster when they see traffic is jammed up to the horizon. In actuality they slow down everyone including their like-minded idiots.
and when I pull up next to those idiots , especially at traffic lights , I just turn my head towards them and flash them a big smile and laugh at them because they did not get there any faster than I did
that is indeed an awesome cover , I loved the Hugh Fleming poster when I first saw it , it is a great composition , but the colors you used look far more natural and your cover is a great throwback to the original Empire Strikes Back theatrical poster and vhs . I would hang that on my wall for sure !
you’re welcome .
I just finished watching the vimeo version and it was fantastic ! It felt very much like a theatrical Star Wars movie . I watched the whole clone wars series as it originally was posted on the official site and this was one of my favorite arcs as well as the lost missions which got me to get a netflix subscription . I also recall , that the first few episodes introducing Savage Opress were edited together for a limited theatrical release
http://www.unboundworlds.com/2010/11/new-star-wars-clone-wars-villain-to-be-unveiled-savage-opress/ it was not in my town so this is the next best thing , probably even better . And this edit is VERY timely .
