Help: looking for... "EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE" Crawl?
Time

I have tried this exact project before.  I've never found an acceptable version of the crawl.  After looking closely at various sources, I noticed that Moth3r's PAL version was cropped on the sides compared to all of the NTSC LD transfers I've seen.  I had been waiting for the X0 to be released, but that's obviously not possible now.

The Phantom Menace -Theatrical Version - NTSC DVD- ADYWAN - NOW AVAILABLE

It would be pretty easy to rebuild using pgc edit.  You'd just need to rip all of the streams using DVD Decryptor, or something similar, and then remux using your new ac3 file.  You could create a very simple DVD with just the film and (as long as you've recreated your chapters) you can replace the main movie (VOBs) in your original dvd with the one from your newly created version,  using pgcedit.  This way you don't have to do any work to recreate the menus or programming of your original DVD for the newer version.

If you share the ac3, I could redo this within a day and repost to a.b.starwars.

MeBe, given that the GOUT is a somewhat acceptable, official archive of the OT (no matter what the quality), the only part of the LDs that has never been released is the opening crawl from ANH.  If the XØ has the crawl completed, we'd be able to create our own edit using the rest of the GOUT.

I haven't heard of any differences btwn the digital and analog ESB soundtracks available on LD before 1993, but I've only really looked at the pre-1993 version that I have compared with the DE. I'm not sure whether it's sourced from the digital or analog disc.
